3 weeks ago I bought this 16" HP laptop to replace an ageing laptop which had gone very slow. This new computer exceeds my expectations. It is incredibly fast, the screen is large and much clearer than the old one. Physically, the footprint is slightly smaller than the old one.
Bought this model HP Pavilion 16-af0004na Laptop - Core™ Ultra 5 as a replacement for an aging 15" Pavilion which was bought in 2015 which had become slower and slower in its operation. What a difference between the two! The speed of 16gb of RAM compared to 8gb RAM is very noticeable and also I like the back lit keys which this Pavilion 16 has. An added bonus is the SSD hard drive which I believe is now standard compared to the old machine. There are also a number of other features which are too many to list in this brief review. I have been an HP user for many years and HP has always been my first choice as they provide good quality and well made computers and printers which I find have great features and are in my opinion reliable. I hope to get many trouble-free years out of this new laptop. Shame that the CD/RW slot for playing CD's and DVD's has been phased out in recent years, for which I mourn!
Really pleased with this new laptop. I have an H.P. Pavilion, running firstly Windows 7 and then 10, which has served me well for a number of years and it is still going strong, but I'm unable to upgrade to Windows11 on it. Hopefully this new one will be just as trouble free!
I bought this laptop after a great deal of weighing up the various models available. Really pleased with it. Nice and quick, quiet in operation and a very nice looking machine. The touchpad gestures were new to me as it is my first laptop but they're quite intuitive after a very short time. A good laptop at a good price!
I have had my new HP laptop now for approx 6 weeks and am very happy with it love the features and ease of transferring my old data onto , also priced within my budget .I only changed as my old apple mac computer was approx 7 years old and was getting slow , needed to more hard drive capacity and also was at the stage where unable to upgrade the operating system
