Perfect for most people

I have this rower. It was a bit of a pain to set up (they probably all are), but on balance, its perfect for me.
Pros:
- extremely quiet
- surprisingly smooth given the price
- easy to change resistance
- resistance is not easy at all even on lowest setting
- gives a great workout in quick period of time (even on lowest setting)
- rowing is a full body workout
- extremely quiet

Negatives
- LCD is limited (but does all I need, count strokes and time)
- Foot pedals are a bit noisy (only noisy bit)
- Bit of a pain to set (mine was missing a washer as some parts had opened inside on shipment)

Easy to assemble, compact, inexpensive and lightweight but essentially completely useless. The resistance is minimal even at the highest level and the difference in resistance between levels is almost nil.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

smooth and quiet

i had concept rower for years. that created a lot of noise. this rower is quiet. person can watch tv in same room. to put together a bit of challenge as instructions not clear when item was assembled upside down to put parts together. and needs less space to use that what instructions suggest. not a full size rower like concept, but that is fine for me 5ft2inches. magnetic pully not as concept which concept is a hardier product. if you need a sturdy product, a larger person, and can manage the noise i would go with concept rower instead.
I would recommend this to a friend!
