I am a big fan of the Otterbox Defender series of phone cases. The case for the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL is right on par with other models. The let down, is the holster/belt clip. It is very flimsy when compared to other models. It allows the phone case to be partially inserted but clicks like it is secure, only to fall out. Other models of the Defender line have a positive click when the case locks in and you immediately know if the phone is correctly installed. The belt clip/holster for the Google Pixel 9 PRO XL clicks even if the phone is not properly inserted and the phone can and will fall out. This really needs to be reinforced and redesigned to only allow the phone to be fully inserted before it clicks.

The holster does not click in very well unless you are using the holster for it's kickstand which clicks in nice in that direction. The phone has to be put in upside down so when you take it off the holster to answer a call you have to turn it 180 degrees. It does protect the phone well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello! We hope the you enjoy the great protection that the belt clip holster offers. The orientation and design of this accessory is largely due to the features inherent to the device itself. Please reach out to our CS Team by phone or via chat and we would be happy to assist with any questions that arise.
IT IS TOO LARGE FOR THE PIXEL 9 PRO AND DOES NOT WORK.

It keeps the phone out of my pocket, secure, and readily available. I'm really writing the review because OtterBox won't stop sending emails asking for a review. Love the product. Don't like the pesky begging.
