This Lego was highly anticipated but a big disappointment when it came out
The balloons are extremely disproportionate in comparison to the house or the actual house in the movie UP. They should have at least doubled the balloons. The house it self is a disappointment for more money I would of rather had a full house that opens like a book and included rooms like a kitchen, bath, larger living room, this would of made the house snd the build more complete and a hundred times better. Overall this set was a big disappointment

Cute piece but not practical at all

Let me start this off with I LOVEEE legos I have the orchid plant, the small cactus’s, all the flower legos, London bridge, the postcard. So I’ve build my far share of legos but this Lego set actually sent me into rage…. None of the pieces stay they all fall out some how, the structure is horrible it never stays it’s just not a practical piece, when I try to continue to build things keep falling…. My boyfriend who builds the more complicated techno (car ones) even thought it was rage inducing. This was just such a flop because I loved it and bought it because I couldn’t stop thinking about it. Just not stable practical or anything you barely move it and something falls off. 3/10 to be honest.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I’m not an OCD person however I was extremely disappointed when I finally got to the last step of my build and didn’t have nearly as many white poles as expected. I think the grey poles as a whole are unnecessary and take away from visual appeal. Overall I enjoyed building this set but the end was a let down for sure. Plus look at how many extra pieces I have, all white poles doesn’t seem like it should cost any extra to produce especially when they give you twice as many balloons as white poles.
I would recommend this to a friend!

So worth it. We love every single detail. It’s just like the movie. We have the book of adventures, the balloons, the three main characters , the pictures hanging on the wall, etc.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good, but lacking

It's a solid set from a great movie, but there are so many details missing that just make it feel off. The biggest one is obviously the absence of Kevin, but there are plenty of others. The lack of Ellie's chair, and even the lack of a print (or even a sticker) for the mailbox in front and the wrong color for the bottom of Carl's cane (really could've made it represent the tennis balls better) feel like relatively simple fixes that would've made the set that much more. But like I said, it is still a pretty solid representation of a fantastic movie.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice design, but too small

Up is my favorite Pixar movie. Great storytelling. The relationships Carl has with Ellie and Russell are beautifully told. But the house is too small. The key room is the living room with the bay window and Carl and Ellie’s chairs. But the living room in the Lego house is just big enough for Carl’s chair. I wish they had made the house big enough to do justice to that room and then fill out the rest of the house based the size of that room. I knew what to expect from the photos. I guess the kit is more for kids than adults.

Was a wonderful build for a Disney and Pixar fan! The detail in the inside of the house was amazing. Only downfall was I wish it was a little bigger !!
