Amazing set for photographers and film enthusiasts

As soon as I saw this set on the LEGO website, I knew I had to have it. As a photographer, having a set that's dedicated to being a camera is amazing. Also getting Walt put together in the first bag gave me some fun little photo ideas of him overseeing the build. So much amazing detail was put in to this set. Only thing I wish I had was something to add a little tension to the clacker mechanism inside the camera. As a long time disney fan, the stories in the instruction booklet, the mickey and minnie figures as well as bambi and dumbo, are so cute. The film scenes wrapping around the camera bring up so much nostalgia, and the slates that stack to form an actual scene from one of the movies is a fun little gem that I had way more fun with than I probably should have. This camera will be displayed proudly on my camera shelf for many years to come.

Easy fun build

This build was pretty easy and relaxing. I have no idea why this is rated at age 18+. I would say 10+ or 13+ might be more accurate. My family are all Disney fans. That's why I purchased it. The only really repetitive parts are the camera legs.

This was a great build. It will look great in my movie room. The film strip really brings the model to life. I enjoyed the details in the camera. I would recommend this to every Disney fan.

A Legend Immortalized

I really enjoyed building this set. The figure stand was very impressive and that picture stack was a big surprise. Dumbo and Bambi are a great addition to my collection but to get Walt Disney himself is just something else entirely. I watched the Walt Before Mickey movie while building this and I had a great time.

An Animating Experience

This is a perfect piece of Old Hollywood. The design is clever, fun to build, neat "studio" with the characters and the overlaying animation cells. Maybe somehow lighting that part would have been an nice extra, but shine a flashlight behind them and it's cool. The "camera sound" is fun. The drawing studio inside the camera is clever. The strip of film adds distinction and history. I really like it.
