Frustrating to use

I've now used this following 3 snowstorms to clear my driveway. In all three instances I wasn't able to complete the job. On the first try, after using the blower for two minutes, the blower iced and clogged so badly that, after clearing the clog it clogged again within two seconds. I got so frustrated that I finished the job by hand. I gave it another chance after the next snowfall, and got a little further before it started clogging. This time there was no apparent icing. It just stopped every couple of feet. One last try earlier this week, and although I got about half of the driveway done, the constant clogging and stopping forced me to put the blower away and finish the job by hand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We recommend using the snow blower during fresh fallen fluffy snow. And to check the auger for any frozen ice. If the snow blower is stored outside below recommended temperatures, bring the unit inside to thaw for the best performance.

If the outside temp is cold, it will not work

Battery operated is what I prefer but batteries and the blower itself cannot be stored outside or in a non-heated garage (where most people would store it) as cold temps cause it not to function. As many other reviewers note, I was happy for a short period, then once temps outside were below 25-30 and I wanted to clear the driveway, it stopped turning on after one row of blowing. I checked the batteries (which I do store inside the house), charged/changed batteries, cleared the chute and other areas of the blower so make sure it wasn't clogged. It just cannot handle the cold temps of winter. NOT a good choice for a snow blower. Get something built to withstand cold temps or you'll be unhappy with your purchase.

Easy handling

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this about a month ago and was waiting for snow! Finally got 5" of snow and was able to use my new toy. Worked beautifully. Easy to manipulate around my double driveway. Had to recharge before I could finish but saved me from shoveling. Very pleased. Enhanced should be bigger wheels and self propelled.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Won’t stay running.

Very unhappy with this purchase. I cannot keep it running. It starts just fine but won’t stay on. Also handle cranks so hard it’s easier to turn the chute by hand. I thought the instruction booklet was poorly written. The booklet said it was for a snowblower but it referenced mowing the grass. Yes, I plan on contacting customer service.

WORX - Poor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love WORX products, but the 40V Cordless Snow Blower did NOT work for us as described. Fully Charged (three lights on battery) works well on 3 inches of snow. As soon as the batteries drop to two lights, it will not stay running. This is NOT self propelled for those wondering.

Easy

Bought this last winter and now will be using it again this winter, cuts through snow up to six inches with ease, I bought extra batteries to make sure when it needs to be replaced, I would not have to stop and wait for a re charge. I have so many WORX products which have served me well over the years and the company, if with a problem, has answered the call to help in any way possible.
I would recommend this to a friend!

battery life is not very impressive unfortunately

I am a big fan of Work and own several of their products. I figured I would give this snow blower a try. Used it today for the 1st time with about 6 inches of snow. It moved the snow ok but almost immediately the battery level decreased a bar. Right then I knew I was likely in trouble with this product. The battery did not last even close to the manufacturers estimated amount and died within 15 minutes of use. If that's the battery life that can be expected then Worx should include 2 sets of batteries. With only one set this unit can barely handle the smallest of jobs. Other issues is the Chute is not easy to move subtly and the batteries are a bit difficult to remove. Those minor issues I can deal with but the battery life is a deal breaker for me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Can't finish the job

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used my new show thrower for the first time today. Huge Akron, OH snow storm and I could only do half my driveway before the batteries died. 25-30 run time. Very disappointed!!
