Overall a great tool, a bit heavy to use for a long duration of time. Would recommend for that quick light snow clean up that's not heavy/wet.

I have only used my new Worx Power Shovel once in heavy snow about 4 -5 inches deep. It worked fine for removing snow off my straight sidewalk where I could deflect the snow to the left or right. It was a bit more difficult to get into corners on my steps and required an old fashioned hand powered snow shovel for that. Two other problem areas are that the knob to turn the deflector blades is a bit difficult to move and that the unit at 18 pounds is a bit heavy for this septuagenarian to maneuver.

The first time I used the cordless shovel, it worked well for a short period of time, then stopped working. I reread the directions, tried again. The unit stopped working after a few passes of light snow and will not restart.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I own a few worx products so I don't understand why I cannot just buy the tool only having many spare batteries lying around, I'll have to pass on this until I can buy the tool only.

I already have batteries, double charger, etc. The point of WORX is supposed to be interchangeable. I will not buy this expensive, redundant product. Really disappointed in WORX this time.
