[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Calming Comfort Heat Copper + Charcoal Vibrating Heating Pad by Sharper Image has some excellent features, but it also possesses some shortcomings. The pad is a generous size, I can use it to cover either most of my legs or most of my torso. The cord is a good length too, so you don't have to be right by an outlet. The combination of heat, weight and vibration is very therapeutic. I love the added weight, it feels really nice and comforting.
The instructions say it heats slowly, I however, thought it heated fairly quickly. That heat is very intense on high. I would only be able to tolerate the highest level if I was very sick and chilled throughout my entire body. The massaging feels great, but is rather loud. The sound would probably be a deterrent if I had a headache.

Oversized heating pad with bonus massage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Sharper Image weighted heating pad with massage feature is just what I expected from such a reputable company. I have long been a fan of Sharper Image’s products and this did not disappoint. At a generous size of 12” x 24”, the pad is large enough to cover most of my sore back or wrap around my aching knee. The weighted (4 pounds) clay beads heat nicely and help it to stay put when I wrap it around my leg. With three heat and six massage settings, I can select the exact therapy that I need. The warmest heat setting is not too hot or uncomfortable, as other brands have been. With a nine-foot cord, I can plug it in next to my bed or couch and am able to relax easily without using extension cords. A two-hour auto shut-off means I don’t have to worry about leaving it on if I doze off during use. I would recommend this as a gift to anyone who exercises.

Perfect for Every Level of Muscle Pain

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Sharper Image Calming Heat Copper + Charcoal Heating Pad provides a variety of heat and massage options that have been perfect for my minor back issues and fibromyalgia flare ups. The weighted pad, combined with the heat and large array of massage settings allows for my entire family to use the pad. I love that the fabric is antimicrobial and that it has a long cord. We use this so much!

I use it on the daily cause it’s so soothing and relaxing to me! Great quality, very durable and great heating pad!

Has a good temperature range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is a nice heating pad. What I like about it is how hot it can get, there are heat levels which makes adjusting it easy. I also like the weighted property which feels nice when it’s laying on me as other heating pads have to be under your body weight to feel the full heat effect. I am not a huge fan of the vibration blocks that are in the pad. It is nice that there are various settings for the vibration. However it does not actually seem to provide much effect even on the highest level, as they are just small blocks that vibrate. I do not like that because of the bulky blocks you cannot lay on this product. So if you want this on your back, you have to be laying on your stomach and then have it placed on your back. I like being able to lay on the heating pad and unfortunately cannot do that with this product. If you like heating pads for your stomach while you lay on your back, this one is great!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

After a long day at work, this works amazingly on my back. I really like that it gives you options for the heat and massage levels. I would recommend you try one for yourself.

This heating pad is great to have when you have aches and pains. I do appreciate that it warms up pretty quickly and has some weight to it. The only reason why I’m knocking it a star is because it’s weighted it makes it difficult to put on if you’re sitting up. So it tends to try to fall down. I feel like this really works well if you’re laying face down but that’s not what I want to do all the time. Sometimes I want it on my shoulders sitting up. Also the vibration settings are okay, they aren’t the best massagers out there but it is a cool feature to have. I personally think the highest levels are too high and I like the soft gentle vibrations on my back and neck area. The pad itself is a good size and I like that I can customize the heat options and vibration options. Overall 4 stars for the heating pad!
