Nomad is AWESOME!

Below is from my last ride of 2023 - but as an update, I just took my Nomad out a few weeks ago on a trail that had a lot of mud, huge puddles, and it was rough and my Nomad handled it like a pro! I rode as fast as possible for about 22 miles and still had battery left. Love this bike!!We own two Nomad bikes, a step through and step over. Absolutely LOVE these bikes. Just rode them about 10 miles on a rail trial, parts were dirt and parts had a lot of rocks. Bikes handled everything perfectly! The trail was a steady uphill for about 5 miles out and then steady downhill on the return. Just used pedal assist 1 on the way out and pretty much coasted on the way back, so didn't test the battery all that much. Still only showed one bar missing on the battery at the end of the ride. Looking forward to more and longer rides with these AWESOME bikes!

I’ve already put 100 miles on this awesome bike ride is so sweet much better than the Discover one my wife has although her bike is very very good so we are enjoying our bikes and riding them a lot and planning to ride them a lot on our camping trip this summer. Yay.

We spent a lot of time looking at all the different offerings out there. And even went to a local bike shop in road this particular bike before we purchased them. We are glad we decided to go with Velotric. Especially the nomad.

Smooth Ride

So far I love it. There are a couple of cons to it, but maybe that is just me. When I adjust the pedal assist to any level, there is a fairly strong hesitation before it kicks in. My husband has a MS2 bike, and although it is much more expensive, the hesitation isn't there. I’m not a fan of the seat at all. Maybe it’s because i’m a female but it hurts my groin. I have adjusted it to point down more and that has helped some. Time will tell if it’s doable or not. The pros = The price is great. It far exceeds other bikes financially. The ride is really smooth with a lot of power. I love the constant light on the fender. The bright yellow is super visible and makes me feel more confident on being seen. The suspension is great and I have a lot of mountain roads around me and it is super stable on them. The handle bar design is amazing!

I did quite a bit of research before selecting the Nomad 1 compared to the other brands. This bike exceeds everything I hoped for. Great build quality, plenty of power, and just loads of fun. Thanks Velotric for a great bike at a great price.
