December 30, 2022... Today was the test for my new E-bike, the Nomad 1 High Step. I was really impressed by the perfomance of this bike. I watched many videos and read many reviews about the Volectric Products, some good and some so-so. Well, to be honest my Nomad 1 performed as I expected. The assembly was done after receiving my package which came undamaged. The assembly video was very helpful and all the other videos that are availabe should be watched. The Instruction Book nedds to be rewritten to explain things better. The only problem I am having for now is the Suspension Fork with Lockout, does not seem to be working. I will go back and watch the video and will get back to the Velotric Support Team if necessary. I hope the suspension will work, if not I hope Velotric will see to it that I get a replacement. Alll items worked well except the fork suspension. I put on about 8 miles on the 1st battery which probably was not fully charged. Top speed achived in Mode 5 was 22.8 MPH, that impressed me alot. The Shimano 8 Speed Shifter worked flawlessly and the disc brakes are fantastic. I added a mirror which I attached to my left side handlebar grip, a front headlight to compliment the one they provide and another rear flashing red flashing reflector that has 4 settings. No more to say for now will see if i can fix my suspension problem and come back and write some more...

I love my new bike !! So very easy to ride, very comfotable seat. The controls are very user friendly !! I have also received numerous compliments on my color, which I love !! i honestly didn't think I would enjoy this bike as much as I have. I'm 60 and would highly recommend this bike to anyone!! My hubby got one as well and we have gone on a ride every day since we got them !!Happy riding !!

Received Broken Bike

The bike was shipped with a broken connection. All I get is an Error 30 which renders the bike useless. It never should have been sent out. Velotric’s first response was to send parts but the bike still doesn’t work. I want a new bike!

A good bike that could be better

The throttle should be separate from the pedal assist level and should be on the right side, not the left side. It is also too far from the reach of your thumb for it to be natural. If I want to accelerate to full speed I have to go to the highest pedal assist level. The assembly manual is lacking. It appears that it has been translated from Chinese and there are a few steps that you have to guess. Handle grips do not allow for the addition of rear view mirrors. Otherwise a good bike that could be better.

The bike is perfect, well-packaged, and assembles very easily. The quality of the parts is top and the tool-kit has everything you need. This is a high-quality bike with excellent components and prices less than similar brands.I had an issue with the assembly service, but Velotric took care of me very well and so after-purchase service is also top. I ended up assembling the replacement bike myself and am glad I did because it was so well designed and easy to do.Thank you for this awesome bike!

Fantastic ride

My first ebike. Assembled easily. Rides great and stops good. I rode 3 miles, crashed, ended up in Trauma unit with cracked ribs, punctured lung. Healing now. Can't wait to get back on ride! It was not the bikes fault. Btw, I was wearing a helmet for the first time in my life. It now needs to be replaced. Oh, I am 73 years young. So much fun!
