We bought two Nomad bikes and have nothing but positive things to say. Nice engineering. Beautiful frame design. Great climber, whether dirt or paved roads. Battery provides a long life for riding. Nothing but good news.

excellent hill climbing ability for a hub motor ebike

I live in a very mountainous area and this bike helps carry me and my gear up some really huge hills that other hub motor ebikes can't do at all so people around here normally have to spend double on mid drive ebikes in order to do this. I'm very impressed with this ebike overall. It does do one very annoying thing though it will jerk you forward very rapidly 0-10mph no matter what setting you have it on, so leaves or other terrain where you want to go slow you can't. Its so bad I would go so far as to say the way it starts is actually unsafe for riders new to it. If you can get used to that quirk though, you just saved thousands of dollars because you'd have to pay at least double to get any other bike of similar quality.

Just hit 20 miles on my e-bike and was waiting to give a review. Did a few small rides with my husband to get used to the way things work. My husband is a bike fanatic and he assembled quickly and loved how well it was packaged. I am riding in places I normally wouldn’t even attempt thanks to my PAS. I am a heavy person and hills were never my friend and now we get along great. Only once have I gone to. PAS 3. Feels so stable and the fat tires give me such confidence. I like that the thought of a ride no longer makes me nervous. The e-bike was a long researched project and so glad I chose Velotric.
