We have just ridden our new Nomad's a couple of times. These things are a game changer! I don't care about hills anymore. We are able to pedal as much or as little as we want.

The build quality is great. The fit and finish seem to be first rate. Some of the components may not be name brand, but everything so far seem adequate and they do their job.I did lot of research before I decided on the Nomad 1. For the low price, I got tremendous value for my money. I am very impressed riding this bike. It is so much fun to ride, and at least in my neighborhood, it turns a lot of heads.The Velotric hub motor has very strong torque. I wasn't quite ready for it to first time I used it, but the learning curve was pretty short for me and now I feel very comfortable riding at all of the pedal assist levels. It is a blast to ride! The hill climbing ability of the Nomad 1 is truly impressive. This is almost like riding a light weight motorcycle that can go almost anywhere. There are many forest preserve trails near where I live that allow class 2 bikes on most of their trails and bridal paths. I only need to keep my speed below 15 mph to stay legal, but it still opens up miles and miles of fun.The support I have received from the company has been wonderful. They have answered all of my questions in a timely manner and kept me informed of the of the status of my order. Today my rear rack arrived and it looks and fits awesome.I would and have recommended this bike to many people. I love my Velotric Nomad 1!

Great E-bike

Both my wife and myself had some reservations about buying e-bikes. Both thinking that it was going to take the exercise aspect out of our bike rides. We were both wrong! I only use PAS 1 and it gives me a great workout as I hit my 15+ mile rides. Helps me aggressively attack the hills that usually slowed me to a crawl. My wife uses mostly PAS 1 and only switches to PAS 2 for a little extra boost on the harder hills. I think the great aspect is that it puts us on equal footing to ride together. Battery last a long time. My wife lost her 3rd bar at 69miles and I did at 74miles, I was still at 2 bars even at 85miles as you can see in the picture. My wife loves the 4'' fat-tire. She feels safe when she hits a trail of soft rocks and dirt. Only have a couple cons: 1) not really sold on the tire fenders. They move and need to be adjusted occasionally to stop the back tire from rubbing. And they make quite a bit of noise. 2) going to have a professional look at and line up the gears properly. The switching can be a little clunky and my wife's clicks in 3rd gear because it doesn't line up properly. I'm just not comfortable with messing with it on my own as I don't want to mess it up further. 3) do wish that the battery gage would show percentage of battery left instead of a 5-part battery bar. This would allow me to know exactly where the battery is at and be able to track longevity of battery life over time. But overall I have to say we absolutely love these bikes and are looking forward to all the great rides we are going to have!

Awesome bike for sure

This is one well built machine. I’m a big guy (6’4” x 310 lbs) and this bike handles my mass with ease. Shifting is butter smooth, battery is suprisingly capable. Would recommend this to anyone.
