After a ton of research, from watching Youtube reviews to looking around the web, I decided on the Nomad 1. It had all the features I was looking for: good hybrid commuter with off road capabilities, great hill-climbing abilities, rugged and good looking. It is a crazy hill climbing bike, the torque on this thing is awesome. This is a very well built bike that reminds of the quality you get from a company like Apple. Great presentation and the packaging was really nice and well thought out. I would highly recommend this bike, you will love it!

My New Nomad 1

After a little bit of practice riding my Nomad 1 is sooooo much fun! I’ve had several motorcycles and due to some health reasons I had to give them up! Still wanting to be a two wheeler I researched E bikes and decided the Nomad was the best option for me! I only have about 20 miles on mine so far due to a cold and rainy Michigan spring but I can’t wait to get more time on it! My first ride I went 7 miles and felt like could ride all day! What an enjoyable experience!Assembly was easy with the help of You Tube videos! The assembly book leaves a little to be desired. I was very impressed with the quality and workmanship of this Velotric bike and am looking forward to putting many more miles on it this spring and summer! I’m 78 years old and enjoying bicycle riding again.😄

Phone answered within 30 seconds. Pleasant voice announced his name and asked what he could help me with. I went through a prepared list of 4 questions. For 3 of my questions he said he would E-mail me the answers so that I would have the answers if I needed them again. For the last question (What is the proper torque value for the front axle) he could not find an answer and I could not find it in the owners manual. I received the E-mail within 5 minutes.GREAT, FAST SERVICE Keep it up, it means the world to customers.

Sometimes the throttle doesn't work and you gotta turn it off and on again. seems to be random. other than that its great bought 2 batteries so i can always ride.

This bike is so fun to ride. We bought it for commuting to work, but sometimes I just go and cruise around. Great stability on rocky forest service road, it climbs the steep hills, everyone in the family can ride it. Tail light and headlight provide night time visibility, The only problem is I don’t get excise riding it,

I'm in love with this bike. It is a hill climbing beast. I live in the mountains of Vermont - right along the spine of the Green Mountains. You can't go anywhere without having to climb a huge hill. This baby takes you right up ANYTHING. You can get as much or as little a workout as you like. It's great on roads or off-road. Very, very comfortable seating and riding position.I was a little concerned at first that I couldn't get a good enough workout but once I got the gear -to - pedal assist ratio down it was great. So much control.This was my first time on an e-bike and about 20 years since I was on any bike. There was a tiny learning curve but after 10-15 minutes it was all go. Freshly Charged youtube channel made me aware of & serious about the bike, TailHappyTV reviews sealed the deal.You can't go wrong.

Love This Bike

Superb bike! Took it 20 miles for my first ride and only went down one bar on the battery! Granted, I was mostly in 1-2 pedal assist mode, but still! The bike rides excellent and I don’t have any complaints! This is my first e-bike so nothing to compare it to although I did ride my niece’s Specialized Turbo Como which cost a lot more and this bike is just as nice if not nicer to ride. I absolutely love the color too, way better in person than online! I would definitely recommend Velotric to anyone considering an e-bike!
