Great Bang for Your Buck!

There was a mixup on the delivery of my Nomad 1, so I stole my wife’s Discovery for a couple days while she skied. WHAT FUN! It had great power, it was easy to ride, and we loved the price. I’ve talked to several people who spent more than twice as much for their ebikes. I’ll bet they’re not twice as happy with their purchase! Great value!

Velotric seems to have put time, thought, and effort into building their bike.It's too bad they didn't do the same for their quick start guide.It doesn't consistently match the hardware or tools provided. Not all needed tools are even provided, and there are plenty of extra parts included for no apparent reason. The bike itself came with the stem 180o out of alignment with the front fork—do they even pay attention when putting this thing together? The instructions don't provide any full-bike diagram to identify parts, and some of the diagrams provided are incorrect. They match neither the actual bike nor the image of the bike on the website.And Velotric clearly couldn't bother to proofread the laughably bad instructions. Here's the first step in disc brake calibration: "squeeze is misspelled the wheel to inspect any squeez sound from disc & pad." What's the last step? "squeeze is misspelled the wheel to inspect the squeez sound until the squeez sound is resolved." Wow. Just...wow.If they put as little attention to detail into their bike design as they did their assembly manual, I'm in big trouble out there on the road.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Instruction are scanty and assuming. It would be helpful if the company details the instructions. Some people can return the product due to frustrations fro unclear instructions.

Good- Very good price, long range , easy to shift . Needs improvement - fenders are constantly getting out of shape,Directions are out of date or not correctHaving to adjust brakes, and assembly not bad but longer than other e bikes.Middle bar very high, and last getting accessories especially the back rail is and been out of stock. Went to bike store got one but needed mods.Overall been good but only put about 15 miles on it due to weather

It’s a good bike all around for the price point but I noticed at 30 miles that my order came apart and I reached out to Velotric and they are sending me a new set and was easy the battery seems to drain quickly 20-30 mile range ,which is not quite what they advertised and I wished it came with a optional smart security system like they have one the newer bikes the thunder 1&St but overall happy and I hope to continue doing business with Velotric for many years (maybe put a 750 watt motor on the discover 1 😜)
