Noticeable Early Services Inspires Confidence!

I ordered two Discover 1's - Mango for my wife and Gray for me. Communication from Velotric was outstanding. I knew every day where we were in the preparation and shipping process. Both bikes arrived in great shape and were easy to finish assembly while watching their video. The bikes have been great fun during our first month. We've ridden further and explored more than we ever would have done on standard bikes. I had to order a more comfortable seat for my wife, but she has logged many more miles than me because of my work, and has enjoyed it immensely. Assist levels work smoothly, gears shift easily. brakes work just fine, and the battery lasts for very long trips! We were considering both more expensive and cheaper models, but the other companies' responses to communication were lacking, which caused concern about future servicing issues. Velotric is to be commended for their service before the sale and before arrival. That, and other good reviews is what sold me.

Great value. If you are looking for a e bike, this is the one to get! Fast deliver, very easy to assemble and fun to ride. As a. Senior, this bike is going to extend my riding experiences for many years to come.Cant wait.

Love our Bikes!

Wow! The color is beautiful! The ride is fantastic!! I am 63, and my husband is 70. We love to ride bike, but getting up hills is more difficult, so we are looking forward to lots of fun keeping up with our kids and grandkids on trail rides.

Enjoying my new bike

This is my first venture into the e-bike world. I am plus size so wanted a sturdy bike, and Velotric fit the bill. Took about a month to receive. Relatively easy to assemble - watch the video. I did have some issues with the front brake spacing - too tight and couldn’t get the front tire on but finally got it assembled. The fenders are a pain - they don’t align well but will do. I ordered the basket and there were no instructions. Got it on but it sheared off the light that is attached to the front fender. Turns out the light has to be repositioned so it hangs off the basket, which means it doesn’t turn direction when the tire turns, but that is livable. Trying to reach the company via phone is challenging but they do respond to e-mail. The only other issue I had was replacing the seat. The video showed removing only one screw, but the one in the back has to be removed as well. As far as the ride, it is a pleasure to ride. I LOVE the pedal assist. I only use the throttle when starting from a stop as it provided a nice little boost to get you going, especially at a stoplight. I have racked up 101 miles in the short time I’ve had my bike. I have found a 20 mile ride is perfect for me. Depending on the terrain I either don’t use even one bar of battery or just barely do. Based on that I should get about 80 miles from a fully charged battery. Given all the e-bikes available this one checked all the boxes for me and I’m happy I made the purchase. Note I did need to get a new bike carrier as mine won’t support the weight of an e-bike. Also spending a fair amount on security (lock, alarm, etc) given my investment.

So happy with my Discover 1! Shopping and delivery went amazingly smoothly. Once delivered, assembly was not that hard at all. And the finished product is so much fun to ride, my car has been in the garage, and my bike gets me where I need to go!
