great "little" speaker!

i will start by stating that i am a touring live sound engineer, with over 20 years experience working as a monitor engineer. i know a thing or two about speakers.
i bought this with the intention of using it in my house at low volumes and occasional outdoor use.
i wanted a proper speaker that could almost do what my b&w speakers do. but with the bonus of being portable. .
this does that just fine. and after adjusting the eq for ages i have come to the conclusion that it usually sounds best "custom" flat. ie no eq at all.
the hf driver is great. the box is really well made which adds tightness in the low end (where plastic boxes usually dont) and delivers a bit of punch, which is useful if your using it outdoors.
i have never had this thing run full volume. i mostly use it on 2\3 volume and turn whatever is attached to it way down as that delivers very clean audio at a low/mid volume for indoors. but i did turn it up a bit once for five minutes and it is pretty clean and very loud.
battery life is exceptional so far.
also if you are a dj you can use it with your decks via the 3. 5m socket, no problem. there is very little latency, i have had no problems scratching and mixing on it.
portability wise. . . . its pretty heavy. but if you had it on your back or a little trolley it would be fine. its easy enough to move around the house one handed. would make a great "site radio" or speaker for a small bar etc.
i hope this thing lasts me many years to come.

Sound good outside. Not as clear in smaller inside areas.
Seems to sound best without the equalizer.
Connectivity is not as easy with 2 but but OK.
Love to crank it when the neighbors aren’t home and great for camping.

Best speaker I have ever owned. Buddy had one and I contemplated it for a year. We take it everywhere and it’s a good replacement for the cost of a new system on your boat.
