The printer itself seems to be high quality. The setup guide is mostly just pictures without text, which would be OK except the pictures showing how to fill the ink tanks are frustratingly vague and it took me quite a while to figure it out. Once I did, however, the actual process was simple. BUT the Achilles heel of this printer is the troublesome connectivity. I have been unable to share this printer between my two Windows PCs. Canon support was very patient but we could only get it to connect to one computer at a time, and as soon as it connected to the second it dropped the connection to the first. This was no problem for my old PIXMA 870 which sadly died after 10+ years. My excellent experience with that printer was the main reason I bought a new Canon printer, but unfortunately this one has been a disappointment.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I received the printer for free in exchange for my honest review. I truly am impressed by this printer! First off, it’s very sleek and modern looking. I love the white color, the size of the screen and overall appearance/size. It was super cool to empty the ink cartridges into the colored/black slots. I feel this refillable feature will save me money in the long run, and it’s nice not to have the old school little clip in ink cartridges. Printing was very fast and the colors were crisp, vibrant, and clear. I am throughly impressed and have already recommended this printer to numerous family members. 10/10 would absolutely purchase!

Simple To Use

I want to preface this by saying I received a free printer to try out. I am giving my honest opinion on it and want it to be known that I would not let the fact that I didn't pay for it, color my review.
Very easy to setup and use. Intuitive. Filling it with ink was a cinch which surprised me. I've always had hassle with switching out ink cartridges but the bottles you pour in make it straightforward. I liked that. Printing has been great, I use my phone and the app or I send documents over the wifi. Very happy with this. So far, no issues so I'd rate it 5 out of 5.

Great home printer

I received this product in exchange for my honest review. This canon printer was very easy to set up. It has a user friendly screen that makes making changes to page sizes and types a breeze. It runs fairly quickly. It is a great home printer for general use. I’ve used it to print on card stock as well as normal printing and it has been great.

"Easy Setup, Cool Ink Concept, but Lacks Vibrancy and Convenience"

The Canon MegaTank PIXMA G4280 is a decent printer, but with some pros and cons. Setting it up was super easy, and the idea of using refillable ink tanks instead of cartridges is really cool and eco-friendly. However, I don't think the ink is as vibrant as it could be; the colors don’t stand out as much as I’d like. Another downside is the scanning feature—it’s more complicated than it needs to be, especially since you have to use a USB to scan to different devices, which feels a bit outdated. Overall, it's good but has a few things that could be improved.

I received this printer for free to review and I must say it is a very good printer. I love how you can print wireless from your phone without having to have it connected to a computer. I’ve had no problems with this printer at all. It works great and I would highly recommend.

I had many problems getting my printer to talk to the computer. Cannon's help remains poor, but not as poor as Epson's, which caused me to try a Cannon printer again. The printer has worked well during the few times I have used it. I like the ease of filling the reservoir. The colors appear to be vivid but I have not done any of my photos yet.
