Cavernous

I bought the X-Large Camera Cube V2 so I have a single carrier I can grab and put in the car. One major requirement was to fit my 28cm-long superzoom lens, optionally mounted on my DSLR. I can fit more kit than I reasonably ever use. One load out I've tried includes two DSLRs, the superzoom, SIX additional lenses, plus the usual collection of batteries, cards, blower, cloth, etc. The one thing I wish was different is that the sides are a little floppy when the lid is open. Also, if I try to lift by one of the short-end straps, I hear a slight tearing sound. As far as I can see, nothing is giving way, but it is worrying nonetheless.

I bought the camera cube for a photographic expedition to Antarctica and it was great to have in my backpack. I love the way it fit inside the backpack and found it quite easy to use. It kept all my gear safe during some challenging landings.

I purchased the Camera Cube V2 to go with the Outdoor Backpack 25L.I have always been happy with the design and quality of their products and this no exception. From experience I can say I have never had to replace or repair their items which is why I always return.
If i thing could be changed.it would be to make it slightly longer to fit my Canon 200-800 mm Then it would be perfect

Perfect versatile bag

Great size for a body + 2 lenses and some small accessories. I love how versatile it is because I have the option to easily carry more gear with a second pouch, but for a casual day the small cube is all I need. I don't want to buy a camera backpack at the moment; the compact size works perfectly at the base of a Lands End/LL Bean style tote bag but I can also attach my Peak straps to the outside and use it as a sling on its own depending on what gear I need.

Weird shape

I bought the Smedium Cube because it was the largest sized cube that would fit the 25L Outdoor Bag. And from the get-go, I found it difficult to fit all the lens I would take outdoors (or on a trip) into the cube in a way that made sense. It took a bit of analyzing, but I figured out that the issue is that the cube is tapered downward, like an upside-down trapezoidal prizm. So while the opening is about 10”x12”, the bottom is about 2” shorter in length and width. That really affects what you could fit in there (such as an 8” telephoto lens with hood) in a way that doesn’t displace more space than needed or mess with the weight distribution inside the Outdoor Bag. I also found the shapes of the dividers not practical, and lacking as there is not one that can run down the longest length of the cube. And if they are going to fit inside another bag, maybe less padding to maximize usable space.

I bought Camera Cube V2 Large in August'25 and i have held on to unpacking video and review since then! Now is a good time as i have taken and used it twice to wildlife tiger reserve safari in India and I was able to fit my Nikon Z6III, Nikon Z 70-200 Lens, Nikon Binocular, Giottos AA1900 Rocket Air Blower, Spare battery, 2-3 CFExpress cards, Lexar Professional CFexpress Type B USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Reader, Battery charger, INIU Power Bank, 20000mAh Fast Charging Portable Charger, 22.5W Powerbank with USB Type C Input & Output, useful cables, and a Apple iPAD.
The bag is a very practical protection and has great features, check the video too. Easy access to side pocket to grab your spares when in a moving jeep/gypsy in the wild. Earthy colours like brown/sand/green/camo would be a nice add on to cater for the wild.

Big fan of how this works with the 30L Travel Backpack (when expanded- something to note if you’re stowing under a seat on a plane or coach). Holds gear securely, the clips give peace of mind that it’s not going to drop out if I open the backpack, and it’s very configurable with a good mix of dividers to break up the space as needed. I took it out with a Nikon Z body, a 24-70 2.8, a 70-200 2.8, a 35mm 1.8, a Mamiya 6 film camera and all the associated accessories like film, straps and such and I had space to spare. If you’ve got a decent sized kit you need to have on hand while out and about this is a solid option for Travel Backpack owners!
