Fits the travel kit and it's unassuming.

SMedium: I was able to pack my Sony a7cr with cage, Sigma 17mm f/4, Tamron 20-40mm f/2.8, Tamron 70-180mm f/2.8 with battery pack and a sleeve of filters into this thing. The Cube fits into my Osprey 34L snuggly, but it works. It's also nice to be able to throw a PD leash on it and use it more as a bag than a cube if need be. The dividers don't fit the gear I have as well as I'd like, hence the 4 stars.

So fed up with having to take everything out of my backpack one piece at a time at international security checkpoints. Now I just unzip and let them check everything at once

One tiny drawback compared to the v1 version

I purchased a medium Camera Cube v2 to avoid having to lug around my large Camera Cube v1 when I didn't need to carry around everything including the kitchen sink. To my chagrin, the v2 Cubes side access panels are smaller than on the v1 cube. The v2 cubes are also 2cm smaller in depth. This makes the new design incompatible with attached battery grips: the cube bulges when closed, and the camera is too large to be removed from the side access panels. Other than that, great product.

Should have bought one years ago!

Bought for travel and used for the first time last weekend. The Smedium size is small enough to slip in to a back pack and big enough to carry all my essential travel kit. It housed a Sony A7 with 24-240, Sony A7C with 28-60, Sony 16-35, SamYang 35mm, batteries and I’m sure I could have wiggled another lens in there. Build is amazing and a lifetime warranty… wow. An absolute bargain

It’s a great bit of kit. Love how it clips into the 45L bag and enables the back to be really versatile. I’m currently travelling in Thailand and it has proven invaluable to keep my kit safe. The material is sturdy and the dividers are very versatile

Sizes got a little too small for me

I'm Really between a 3 and 4 rating. I own all of the V1 Camera cubes and love them. The V1's are extremely versatile.
I really want to like the V2 but I'm not really digging them. I bought both the XSmall and the Small. Both of them are just a little too small. I wanted the XSmall to be able to carry just a body with lens attached. R6 with 70-200f4 will squeeze in but I don't feel is protected well. r6 with 100 2.8 forget it. This XSmall will probably end up being just a tech bag.
I just got the small to replace a lens bag for a Tamron 150-600 that I adapt to an r6. I can squeeze in the lens without the adapter which doesn't help much. This combo fits in the V1 small without issue. So now I need to search for another V1. Besides packing the small in the 45 l backpack I also like to use it for a small carry. I was able to get body with lens attached and extra lens and a Profoto flash into a V1 small. It was a tight fit but I was able to make it work. I can't even try to make that fit into a V2.
I was hoping that Peak would actually build in an expandable lid into the small for V2 which would really make for a versatile bag/cube.
The new features are good, I can now grab the bags with the grab handles a little easier. Quality is right on par with other Peak products, which is why I keep on buying Peak stuff
Maybe there is a Smedium in my near future

I'm really pleased with my Size M Camera Cube V2. It nicely holds a full frame camera body, 3 lenses, and assorted odds and ends. The entire cube then fits perfectly in my PD Travel Pack and makes for a great carrying, nicely protected, well-organized and reasonably easily accessible kit. Everything seems well-made and good quality. Comes with plenty of removable dividers, pockets, clips, etc. to set up the cube to fit a variety of needs.
