Outstanding product. Well thought through, high usability. I use it as my office everyday bag. Works really well together with the tech pouch.

Bought this bag about a month ago….not a big camera guy. I use it for work and I also use it as a personal item bag on trips.

It could be a great bag but not for everyone

I’ve been always Osprey person because they bags are great in every detail.
I got Peak Design to be my all day long backpack for laptop, camera and lens and some accessories. I knew that I don’t need to use inside compartment dividers. Material looks robust and midnight color is my favourite.
First issue, my 17” laptop did not fit inside the back pocket. Unfortunately, this is my work laptop which I carry every day. Back compartment was big enough for 13”mac.
I liked small side pockets inside the main compartment but I didn’t find anything practical to store inside.
Full side zipper might be great if used with internal dividers to easily access camera. I didn’t find practical use for them because if I need quick shots I carry a camera outside.
Shoulder straps don’t hold and they need to be tightened often. It’s no big deal but still annoying compared to other brands.
Side outside pockets should be higher and made of mesh to be more flexible. I ended up carrying there only napkins because a bottle was falling out when I bend.
I did not find practical use from side holders. I carry backpacks on the back, not as a suitcase.
And finally the biggest disappointment is the lack of ventilation on back so it can’t be used for hiking (considering higher pace).
It’s the first backpack I was giving away to my sister. The bag was fine but not worth the money and there were more disappointments than wow moments.
The cost of the backpack is so high compared to Osprey or Deuter and they have many years of experiences.
Peak Design could find their customers but mostly from photographers.

Excellent backpack for everyday use

Excellent backpack for everyday use. I use it as a diaper bag for my baby. It's the best one out there, plus the added bonus is that it won't get lost when my baby grows up. All the parents ask about it, and it's interesting to see the looks of admiration when I explain the bag's features. It's an amazing product.

Elegant, Smartly Designed, but a Bit Tight

I love this backpack—it’s elegant, beautifully made, and incredibly well thought out for organization. I’m not a photographer, but I use it daily for work and appreciate the clean layout and smart pocket design. The laptop sleeve fits perfectly, and the multiple compartments make it easy to keep everything organized. My only complaint is that the 20L size can feel a little cramped if you’re carrying bulkier items like textbooks or folders; I’d probably go for the 30L next time. It can also be a bit tricky to reach some of the inner pockets, but overall it’s a fantastic, well-designed bag.

Loved the 15L so much, I got the 20L as well!

I already had the 15L, which has been a fantastic small backpack used as a personal item on flights, but once at the destinations, I've always felt a need for something a little bit bigger, so I got the 20L version. This should serve me well (and still fit as a personal item on flights), as did the 15L, because it's well-designed. The single track/multi zipper pull system makes getting at camera gear and everything else a breeze, no matter where you're accessing your bag (i.e. on the floor, hanging on your left or right shoulders, etc). This, and the 2 flex-fold dividers for customizability, are perhaps my favourite features of this daily carry bag.

Love this bag!

I've only used this bag 3 times since getting it but so far I love it and it's perfect. I can fit my main camera body, my 35 & 85 prime lenses, and a flash along with extra space on top. This is great, because I can just leave all my extra lights and gear in my giant roller bag to only bring when necessary! I will be using this bag for a lot of things beyond photoshoots and can't wait to use it a bit more and customize my setup.
