using it for baby needs for a month now. we’ve no complaints; specifically picked this bag model and color for its functionality and aesthetic. 4 stars because there’s always room for improvement.

I have been using this backpack every day since just before the start of the pandemic, it is perfect for every aspect of my life, work, travel, exercise, day-tripping - the camera specific features are great AND have so many other uses.

Everything I Was Looking For
on January 2, 2022

This bag was everything I was looking for in a camera backpack. I wanted something light and sturdy but offered room for storage not just for cameras but also other items. I’ve had multiple backpacks with dedicated compartments for camera gear but they were either too small, not expandable, or hard to access. Yea I could get a pro backpack but they just those just look ugly. This one checked all the boxes in term of style and functionality! I just wish they would give more dividers than just two. And the dividers are not secured all the way to stop smaller things from moving from one compartment to another as you move around.

Best version of the PD backpack

I have the V1 backpack (with the flap top) and the zip version is a definite improvement because even though the V1 flap closes securely, the zip version is more water resistant. The backpack is highly configurable and it’s storage capacity is amazing

15L is very suitable for daily use and can be matched with other large-sized backpacks. But I hope that the strap can be fixed on the back (it can be magnetic or storage), so that it can be more convenient when you carry it.

Great day pack

The first Peak Design Backpack I bought was the Travel Backpack, which I loved but found too big for everyday use, so when the Everyday Backpack was released I bought it right away and generally very happy with the backpack. It has many pockets throughout the pack so organization is very good, accessibility is great as well.
Kinda wish there is a front pocket for tiny or quick access items as well but not an issue at all.

Great for Everyday Use

Using the Backpack literally everyday, most used features are fast access to top, wallte pouch and laptop/iPad compartment. Though its a bit thight, especially with MacBook Pro and iPad Pro with case. Combining it with Tech Pouches greatly increases versatility. Straps are really useful when hiking. Waterproof finally lety me focus the umbrella on keeping rain from me and not my gear

Great everyday and travel backpack!

I had been eyeing this backpack for months. Because of the price and the main purpose of being a camera bag, I was hesitant but after researching a lot of competitors, I eventually bought it. I got the bone colored one and was a little worried about it getting stained, despite having a water resistant shell, but we pleasantly surprised to find out it was very easy to clean. I took it on a trip with me and I had spilled coffee on it, dropped it in mud, hit it against an oily part of my car and somehow, despite having left those things in for hours, a wet paper towel and a little soap washed it all off so easily. I love that it has adjustable shelves, which was a huge selling point for me. Im a product designer so I bring a lot of tech around and I like organizing all my chargers and notebooks into handy sections. I like how small and lightweight it is. I’m 5’1” and I struggle with finding backpacks that aren’t too big, straps that actually fit my smaller frame and it doesn’t hit my butt every time I take a step.
One thing I will say I wasn’t fond of was the laptop holder in the back. Super tight fit, had a bit of a hard time taking my laptop out sometimes but I’m guessing it will loosen up with wear. Other than that, I think this is a thoughtfully designed backpack and i am obsessed with it!
