From the moment I opened the package with my Everyday Backpack V2, I could tell that high quality was a recurring theme in nearly every detail of the bag. From the attention to detail to the zippers and various convertible storage dividers, this bag is not just for camera people, but for anyone wanting to up their game in the backpack department. I particularly love the look and DWR exterior of this bag.

Great carryall

I love the bag. It holds everything I need. The only thing I wish it had was more inner pockets with zippers. For example, make the entire side panel two hidden zipper pockets! A lot of things fall out of the open pockets if I’m not constantly vertical. Otherwise, this is a great backpack for school, hiking, and photography.

I really like this bag. Super comfortable. The only thing I would change is to also open clamshell.

Everyday Backpack V2

The backpack is comfortable and visually appealing. Good construction materials. Storage space is less than what I had expected partly due to the rigid shape and curvature of the interior. No outward expansion ability. Overall, a good product. Equipment carried: Nikon Z9, 70-200 f2.8, 24-70 f2.8, Profoto A10 Flash, misc photo accessories.

Great features, a little heavy

I bought this one because my work laptop is so huge it is no longer funny. Seriously it is 15.6 inch 2kg+ monster from 2020(!). My first choice would actually have been the 20l zip then the 20l Everyday.
I love the organization. I don't carry much photo gear. I mainly use it for commuting to work or small weekend trips. I love the pockets which I mostly fill with cables, powerbanks or chargers. It is reasonably comfortable for a city backpack.
The compartments are too big for smaller camera gear (Fuji, M43) that I use but I'll manage. Only real downside is the bulk and weight. Especially in public transport it is easy to hit someone or something. The backpack itself is also quite heavy. I am not that big hor muscular and I find comfort to be ok. My wife's 20l is much more comfortable.
I would not really recommend the 30l version. I would look at the 20l versions of the zip and everyday first. As I said...I really needed the large laptop sleeve. A MBP 14 gets lost in there (but the compartment can be adjusted..that is great)
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Functional and beautiful

I've brought this backpack on trips around the world. Its reconfigurable interior and dedicated pockets gave me plenty of ways to store my stuff. Its straps and loops allowed me to attach drones and blankets when I needed. The expandable main pocket is also nice for when I need to carry just a little more stuff. If I had one complaint, it's that the backpack is a bit heavy and too insulating for hot days.
The zipper for the laptop pocket broke after a few years, but Peak Design replaced the backpack for me.

Works well with PD Ecosystem

The Everyday Backpack works well with the rest of my PD gear -- namely the anchor system and the Capture Clip. The innovative laptop storage is also pretty clever. The only downside is the weight of the bag... even when completely empty, it's significant.
