Previous to the Everyday BP I only owned the Peak Design camera strap (which is awesome btw). This bag is awesome and you can tell it was very well thought out. There are connection points and tie downs every where you could want them. I watched a lot of YouTube reviews prior to my purchase and was skeptical that I would fit all of my gear in the 30L which had previously been spread across two smaller bags from Case Logic. It all fits and I can even put my MacBook and iPad Pro in it. I ended up moving up the bottom shelf and making the bottom of the bag the lowest level. With 4 sections including the top I can fit my Mavic 2 Pro, controller, 3 batteries, ND filters, 4-bay battery charger, Sony A7III with a 24-75mm lens, a 17-24 lens, and a telephoto 70-200 lens along with an A7 2-bay battery charger all in the main body of the bag. I have other batteries, step rings, etc in the side flaps of the bag. That's not counting the laptop/iPad slot or any of the outside tie down points using the straps. Can't wait to get many years out of this bag!

Best all-round backpack

I have both v1 and v2 backpacks. The v1 backpack proved to be an amazing backpack for "everyday" and every flight trip. I was shocked how much a good backpack with side access can change my daily life (my previous photography backpacks were useless on the daily). There are some issues on v1: side internal pockets are not practical, notebook pocket is both too deep and too tight, I had one of the zippers break on the side. On the latter, I have reported this to Peak Design last month hoping to get a replacement zipper and they replaced the whole backpack.
The v2 seemingly addresses all of these issues. The side pockets are much more practical, the internal magnetic front pocket is larger, the notebook compartment is much improved. I love the fact that the straps are now magnetic as it makes it much easier to put the backpack on a suitcase (one of those things that you don't know you need until you get it). The zippers are definitely smoother and faster; time will tell if they are also more durable, but a) everything about this backpack in marketing turned out true so far so I am hopeful and b) the company has a proven amazing customer support policy so I have no fears. If there is anything to complain about the v2 is that (although it looks amazing) the navy blue color is hard to clean and dirt is easy to pick up.

I have been searching for the perfect backpack for all my gear for almost a year. I finally decided on the 20L everyday backpack. It holds everything perfect, and fits me like a glove. The quality is great as well. All in all, I'm extremely happy with my purchase.

I'm obsessed with their gear

I started off with the 30L backpack. Then bought the field pouch and eventually the Sling 6L. They put so much thought into these bags, and it is very high quality. I'm hooked.

After agonizing over which size of bag, I chose the 20L. My initial assessment is that it will hold the gear I am most interested in transporting. My challenge is to get it organized so that I use the space efficiently. As an everyday backpack I have found a good solution to what I carry. My biggest complaint is that the pocket for my Surface Pro is really tight and sliding the laptop in and out is clumsy. I have thought through the "what to carry" of my camera gear but am still pondering the how to put it into the backpack for optimum access and transport. I have watched a couple of PD's videos but have not attempted to replicate anyone's approach. The backpack is sturdy, gives me a sense of durability but I haven't tested the comfort of a long walk or hike on a camera shoot. 4.5 stars is my current assessment.

Excellent

In the last month, I purchased several peak design products. I travel often for work, and I was eyeing the EDBP for months to make said travel a little less miserable.
I finally bought it and it exceeded my expectations. Quality design and materials.
When I showed my wife the bag she got a sad look on her face. I asked her what the issue was, and she was like - I can't go back to my old bag. So I got her one too.
The modular storage pouches and easy accessibility allow me to use the bag for work and for my video/camera projects. I have a spot for all my stuff and I carry a bunch so I don't have to repack my bags when I travel.
Great bag, glad I got it. My wife loves hers. Everybody is happy.

Almost perfect

Absolutely love this bag, design is super convenient for easy camera access and It perfectly fits all my stuff. I bought the black V2 and I love the look however the black material marks very easily (Marks can be brushed off easily but still annoying). Also the straps are too firm in my opinion and would like extra padding.
