Much smaller than expected

As other reviewers have pointed out, the bag is much smaller than the pictures make it seem. It is much closer to a drawstring bag you might take to the gym than a tote bag you would take to the farmer's market. Also, the quality is not just there compared to other PD offerings. I love Peak Design, but this one missed the mark.
I have several packable totes from other brands that are really great, but as always with Peak Design products, this bag is next level. It's stylish, durable, and packs to a semi-flat rectangle. I bought 2 and I know I will be getting more. Try it! You won't regret it.
I bought this along with other peak design items and this is a very handy bag to carry in my purse. I use it to pack necessities when I don’t need my full purse at the Farmers market(my wallet is on me) or miscellaneous items for an outing. Durable materials and zipper. Love it!
I didn't realize how pathetic my other reusable totes were until I got this one. The material is weirdly smooth and super strong, packing easily into its own pocket, and carrying everything I throw in it while looking good. The strap is the perfect length for hand cary or throwing over my shoulder. It's a freaking goldilox bog. I love that it zips closed. I cary it with me everywhere and enjoy using it. I can't say that for any of my other totes. They stay home.
I bought the gray Packable Tote as a "mom bag" because my baby's diaper bag is so big. My stuff were getting lost in it, and I wanted a way to quickly extract my stuff without digging through it. Initially, I was going to use it as a bag-in-bag because it's so malleable and light. Now I use it as an independent bag and shove it in to whatever other bag or grocery bag I happen to be carrying around at the time. I
t's super light and crumple-able, so I can shove it in to essentially any other container or bag. Doesn't take up room, and I don't have to worry about it getting wet/soiled/misshapen/scratched (apparently it's even "self-healing?"). I rarely ever "pack it up" into the little pocket, but I definitely will be if I'm taking a trip or don't need it immediately but will later. The depth is also pretty big, so I can shove A LOT into here, including a thick sweater and a few swaddles. The opening is very wide so I can immediately see everything I have inside, making it easy to shove my hand in there and find my phone or car keys.
I like that while the strap wasn't as long as I'm used to with my other purses, it's just long enough and the opening big enough that I can stick my hand inside while holding the bag still on my shoulder and pull out my wallet to check out. I know it's weird, but when you're in a rush with a stroller or shopping cart, being able to take the same hand you have the bag hanging from and pulling things out is pretty useful.
One thing I noticed was that if I'm wearing a tank top, my skin sometimes flaked off on the handle because of the material. But when I just checked it again right now, it's come off, so seems like any of those things are pretty temporary.
For the price, the quality is amazing, and I use it every day! Love how light and malleable it is! One less thing to worry about as I lug my infant and 10 million things that go with them everywhere. Thanks so much for designing this! :)
I bought this for international travel and it was a great combo with my everyday sling. It packs small and fits very well into the everyday sling next to my camera. Even though it packs well, it’s rather tough and held a lot of shopping items with no problem at all. Highly recommended and worth the price.
