Great packable tote

Bought this packable tote for everyday carry and mostly because it has a zip, which a lot of ultralight compact packable totes don't have. The good: packs down small and easy to repack despite what the shop clerk told me. The best thing is that, unlike all other totes I have, when this is packed full and with heavy guy it doesn't feel heavy when you put it over your shoulder. The soft padding of the straps and the design somehow alleviates a lot of weight and strain and feels genius. Downside: I may have got a defective bag because after two uses there were two holes in the bottom of my bag, which was disappointing. However after an email to Peak Design they replaced it very quickly under their lifetime warranty and the replacement bag has been absolutely fine with no holes developing, but that said it will be interesting to see how it holds up with months of use.
This bag is great as an on-the-go spare bag in a backpack or purse. The handle is robust and fits over a shoulder well. The bag seems very sturdy and packs up extremely small into a small envelope-like pouch. The only downside is that the main opening is a little smaller than some other totes but it's not really been an issue.
I've carried various packable bags over the years and this one is by far my favorite one so far. I particularly like the ability to zipper-shut the bag, which I don't see often among options of packable bags. The design is simple and clean, which I like, and the quality feels sturdy for what the product is meant to do (including traveling around). I personally keep one PD packable tote in each of my work and travel bags, respectively.
I really like the bag as I bought 3 of them. I have used it for the day recently in Zanzibar and Greece. I put the little tabs on the strap so I could carry it with my camera strap since I was using it for an all day excursion. It would be great if they could add the little cords like on the back packs so you can put the tabs and they would not slide up the built in handle.
Really love this bag, it looks great, it's packable and strong, BUT one thing I'd change is making the strap length a bit longer so it can go cross body. Also, I find the straps are just a little bit close over the shoulder, and I'm not a particularly big person either.
So yes, what I love to see is either adjustable straps, or straps that are extra long so this bag can be worn comfortably across the body for ease and security during longer trips.
Surely I can't be the only person to mention this? 🤔 Maybe for next model @peakdesign?
