Cracking way of carrying gear

Easy to carry, well balanced and easy to access when out and about. I use with my Fuji XT3 and a couple of lenses , filters etc, along with a iPad , phone , keys. It’s ideal for everyday use without getting the big rucksack out. Doesn’t slip a great deal in use.

The best bag ever

Since I’ve started to use this bag there was a smile stamped on my face. It’s super raining now but the bag is 120% water resistant! And it’s super comfortable on my back, is lightweight and very practical! I had the older version and it was good for me, but the newer version it’s really over my expectations! Very good job guys

A fantastic lil day bag!

I got this wanting the versatility of an over the shoulder bag and fanny pack. The external zip pocket fit my phone and card wallet perfect. The larger inner pouch could fit a 16 oz water bottle, power bank, cords, Chapstick, air Pods, and even my iPad in the padded inner sleeve. With all of it it was a tight fit, but most days I didn't need my iPad while out and about! I love it. The two things that I wish for is a way to pass a cord from the main pocket the front one to make charging easier and if they had the slide buckle on both sides I'd just burst with happiness. I restrung the buckle on the non-slide side as it didn't get quite small enough to stay around my waist without adjusting both sides and I wanted to be able to do it quickly.

Great Bag for EDC
on May 31, 2023

I have the 3L and it is great for everyday carry, especially if I bring a small mirrorless such as a Fuji. It can carry the camera, snacks, and everything else that would be in my pockets. The best part of the bag is the quick adjustment of the strap. I would purchase again for that alone. As mentioned on other reviews, the front zipper pocket is quite difficult to access often. I would love a 6L for my travel EDC and comfortably add in a lens or two.

Small but mighty

Amazing bag for everyday shoots where you don’t need a ton of gear. It’s lightweight but can hold about one camera and a lens or two to three lenses. It’s very sturdy and strong. Safe and cushioned. Love peak design!

It is really beautiful, comfortable and durable. I've had version 1 for so many years and I've always been super happy about it. I recommend it to everyone, even to those who no longer have a camera like me.

A good messenger bag... But not a great one

I brought this bag back in Febuary of 2023, wanting to have a solidly made sling bag that - most importantly - had dividers so I could segment my stuff inside the bag and not have it fly around. Having used it until now, I can still say it's a good enough bag, but probably not the bag I would have chosen have I had the wisdom i have now.
To get the good out of the way: The build quality is solid and the water resistance works well, espeicaly living in Denmark where I've taken it through rain and snow whilst still holding everything inside dry (albeit the bag will feel very damp inside so it's not FULLY proof). And the dividers feel solid and sturdy too (which is also a bit to their determent, noted later). They are very modular, which does lead to a bit of learning curve but once you figure it out they really open up what can be done with the bag.
But that's all the good I have to say, and there is a lot of cons:
The front pocket is really annoying to use with how tight it is. It only feels good to use with one - maybe two flat things inside of them and even then i struggle to get my hand into the pocket. If I have to look into it, I will basically have to pry the bag apart to do so, and made me always want to pack the bag so that I didn't have to use set pocket.
The strap for the bag is underwhelming. It feels fine but the padding is not enough to handle anything over 2 kg and has another issue with me wearing any softshell jacket where it often slips off, but with my fleece it doesn't. I think the padding needs to have something with high friction to stick, else it will just slide off at the smallest sign of sudden movement. And the quick adjuster felt useless to me. I could not use it like the designers showed in the overview video and I had to pull at the "top strap" to tighten it. So I instead reduced the strap length as much as I could and kept it high on my back when carrying it. I can still easilly swing it around thanks to my body being skinny as hell. Honestly, I would not mind it being removed in a V3 edition of the bag.
The laptop / tablet pocket feels badly designed. For smaller documents and a macbook it's still fine, but have anything brittle at A4 size or any thicker electronic device and it will be hell to put anything in there. It's in part to the main compartment zipper having a "overhang" that's hard to move around together with the FlexFold dividers restricting how much you can pull the pocket flap out.
And speaking of the dividers, they work GREAT with bigger items like lenses and such, but suck at anything small which i carry in my bag (keys, wallet, hand sanetizer, glasses, packable tote and so on) and it's not made for that. They move around a lot if it's not packed tight and some items can even slip under a shelf if they're small enough because a shelf will have a gap between it and the wall, which I can't remove no matter how hard I try. (Example is when I used to place my keys on the top shelf but always had them slide to the bottom compartment because of the aforementioned gap)
In all, it's not a bad bag, but having used it, I feel it's a bag made for a much narrower demographic than it's really lead on to show. Saying it can be used as a replacement for small EDC when that is really more for very specific items like the camera lenses the photographers they mainly cater to use. It's a photo bag first, and if your EDC kit doesn't fit in as bigger items but still light, you will find yourself underwhelmed like I am. Maybe I will upgrade to a big camera kit where this bag can really shine. But until then, I'll still use it with a slightly sour taste in my mouth.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
