Good but not great

Nice quality and sturdy. However 6l is quite small internally as case material is quite rigid. Also front pocket is really slim and tight and I can't even get a big phone on it easily. Would have been good to have a back zip pocket for passport etc. Like that I can adjust the strap at both ends - although would have liked a bit more strap as I'm quite tall. Sling makers seem to expect you to wear them on your back most of the time - but when I'm hiking I have a backpack and want a slip on my hip at the front for fast camera access. Needs a V3.

Solid little sling…

I appreciate the simple clean design of this sling. It is a tad smaller that I wished, but didn’t want to go up to the 10L. Access is pretty good but the main opening could open a bit wider. You’re able to adjust the divers for a few things as needed.
I do wish it had a secure exterior sleeve or something for a water bottle. I also think PD’s construction quality leaves a lot to be desired. Almost every piece I have from them has low stitch-counts and uneven stitching. Not really that ‘Peak.’ But otherwise I find many of their products the best available on the market, but not without improvements needed.

Best sling I've have ever bought

I needed a small sling that I could use for my photography since my previous bag was too bulky. While it looks small, it can pack a lot of stuff. Also, great small features

Discreet and solid !

A tiny and really solid "stealth" photo bag where I can fit one Leica M or a Fuji and up to 2/3 lenses (3 when using M lenses). I also use it as a sternum bag when I need the backpack or am travelling.

Durable, Light, Great Street Photography Pack

I bought this about 3 weeks ago because my prior camera bag was bulky, not well built, no protection, and a bit ugly... this one is perfect. i commute fairly far, and i like to shoot street photography. i need something light that I can take with my backpack, and then, when I get to my office, take a light pack to stroll the streets during lunch. This pack is perfect. light, durable, feels very protective, and Peak Design confirms it is weather proof. It also works seamlessly with my Capture Clip. Going to Japan/Korea in a few weeks and excited to use this during my travels.

Frustrating opening and usability
on November 2, 2025

Everything about this bag is so premium and yet I'm surprised how much I did not like it. The opening is restrictive making my camera (Nikon Zf) and hands rub all over it going in and out. There different pockets and ways to organize but the shell is hard and the bag feels cramped. I have a smaller bag that's more flexible, and I feel like I can store about the same amount of gear in both bags even though the peak design bag is twice the size!
Now that I have the bag in hand I wonder what kind of camera does this optimally fit? Someone with an A7C and two large lenses (or one large and two small lenses)?
It does not jibe with the size of the Zf though--that is for sure. And I can't imagine going with the 10L option because it has the same style opening and rigidness. But seems people like this bag so what do I know?
I'll be looking for a bag that opens wider, is less rigid, and ideally a way to access the gear in a more "flat" way, rather than digging down into layers of lenses.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Everyday Sling Bag 6L
on November 19, 2025

Bought this few days ago for a trip, having a hard time converting the 6L sling bag into the waist bag. The hook is not easy to get in or out of the second hook (the one meant for changing it to "waist mode". Front pocket seems too tight as well, not sure if it loosens up later with usage...hopefully it does!

Great city camera bag
on December 20, 2025

I needed a smart camera bag for city visits that would fit my compact mirrorless camera and extra lens. This certainly first the bill. It is well made has just enough room to add a couple of essentials and sits nicely on the body, rather than sticking out like a shoebox . I have thought that I should have bought the 10l rather than 6; am sure it would still be compact but I would just fill it with junk. I like the security feature for the zips as well as the robustness of the origami dividers. The inner stretchy pocket is tiny though- I couldn’t get my car keys in here and the front zip pocket is a bit stiff ( it is brand new) so you can’t just shove your phone in here. Overall though very pleased
