Shoulder strap plastic broke

Shoulder strap broke on me at the airport. My medium format gear took a hard hit to the floor. First time a bag has failed on me like that. I would stay away from this bag.

Great bag with lots of options. Only disappointment is that the straps are not long enough to use as a backpack, unless you weigh less than 100 lbs.

I would have given this bag five stars but the backpack option wasn’t adequate. I have large shoulders and the handle straps are not sufficient to use as back pack straps. It seems that the idea of carrying the bag as a backpack was as afterthought but with no effort applied to really make that a function. Otherwise it’s a beautiful bag. I really like the way that the main compartment is accessed

Very good, needs better hand/backpack straps

This is just the right bag for most trips. Great material, great pockets, big enough, good price. But the hand straps needs work -- handles too stiff to hold by hand, and straps too short to use as backpack straps. If Peak Design developed improved hand straps as an accessory, I would definitely buy them, and this would become my primary travel bag.

Fantastic Everyday Duffel

I got this as a companion to the larger Duffelpack, and I'm so glad I did. While nothing beats the 65L for sheer carry capacity, this is the one I grab nearly every day for toting gym clothes, heavy loads of books, whatever. It's durable as all getout, and I never worry about tossing it in the trunk. Love it.
