I kept looking for a great camera bag but didn’t like any of the many options out there. Then I saw an intriguing video from Peak Design on YouTube. Turns out, this company is a unicorn! They make innovative products that meet real needs, elegantly, AND they have fantastic videos showing you how to get the most out of their gear. I bought the 6L Sling and it has made my life so much easier. I had been toting around a heavy, awkward bag and now I’m traveling light with my Sling and I looove it! I can’t wait to add their brilliant, travel-friendly tripod to my kit. And the Capture! Love the employees featured in the videos—fun people creating thoughtfully designed products. The icing on the cake is that they care about the environment and are carbon neutral. Unicorn!

I wanted to be disappointed, but...

...truth is, with one exception, I'm not. Great clean lines, simple yet effective, easily adjustable shoulder strap, capture compatibility...it's really a great bag. The only thing I wish is that the pockets were a bit easier to access. I have the 10L. This thing even fits my Canon RF 100-500 telephoto along with my R6 w/ 24-105 attached. I can even add a few accessories in the main compartment, leaving the front pocket for smaller bits or a snack. All this in a package that's not oppressively big.

Excellent bag for travel

I own both the 3L and 6L versions of the Everyday Sling. If you're going to only buy one, I'd recommend the 6L. The 3L will fit a compact mirrorless with a lens mounted and have a little room left for some accessories. You could alternatively leave it unmounted and carry 2 lenses. Where the 3L struggles is the bigger body cameras like a Lumix G9 as it's pushing the limits of the cargo area. Also if you're planning on carrying a tripod and use the Capture Clip at the same time, be aware that it may not work if you want to carry your camera at the same time. It works better if you're trying to stay light with your shot kit.
The 6L has all the same features but obviously more room for the bigger bodies and lenses. It's overall better suited if you need a few things for the day rather than going for light and fast. Fit, finish and thoughtfulness in design is top notch for both sizes.

After I switched to mirrorless, the next task was to get a bag that can hold the camera and other personal items for everyday carry. 3L V2 is compact enough not to shout I have a camera and keep my pockets free. Love the small black bag and thinking to get the ash as a backup.

Great build quality, one defect

I bought the 3L sling back in September to visit theme parks and take my camera.
The build quality and design are superb, i can fit a Sony a6700 with two prime lenses and a zoom lens, which is crazy for the size of the bag.
The only complaints I have are that the color black (which I chose) isn’t great for thermals as it heats up pretty quickly. The other one is that the fabric is kinda abrasive. I carried the sling while wearing a cotton shirt and at the end of the day I could notice considerable degradation on my shirt, like if it had months of being used and washed.
Just be mindful of the clothes you rub against its fabric and I think you’ll be great.
