Great bag overall

Overall, great bag. But I was hoping the material and design would be as good as the travel backpack. I feel that the material on the raised back panel is a little weak and I can tell it'll wear through with time. I feel like PD should have used similar material as the travel backpack since it's more robust. I like the zips, They are nice and smooth and should last. The side pockets aren't as good as the travel backpack. In the travel backpack, it swallows very large bottles. While the Zip's side pockets look large, but a 500ml water bottle doesn't touch the bottom of the pocket, it leaves about 5 inches of space from the bottom of the side pocket. That's a lot of wasted space. My water bottle is standard sized, with a diameter of 2.5". The straps appears pretty comfortable. Softer than the travel backpack. Midnight colour way is a good edition and really digging the leather accent. I wish there is build in strap management for this backpack. I actually had to velcro them together to keep them from dangling. I wish PD would make other types of dividers that actually divide lengthwise. The depth of the bag is wide, so my lenses would be rolling around on the shelf. So again,not an efficient use of space. I would welcome add on dividers to reduce the size of the large shelf so I can securely carry prime lenses without them rolling around.

Great Bag for Moms

So, I have multiple PD products and love them. I have the V1 ED Backpack and use it all the time. My wife was also a fan of the backpack but didn't have a need for one. Now with two kids she wanted an update to her diaper bag that didn't scream "mom diaper bag" so I got her the Zip 20L for Christmas. She loves it! It's got enough storage for all the kids stuff, as well as her own things. The separators make keeping the different sized diapers organized a breeze and the 270 zip allows easy access when needed. The weatherproofing and durability will definitely be put to the test with its current use, but so far so good. She gets complements on the bag's style often and is extremely pleased with it (and I got a few brownie points as well). To recap; great every day bag even for those who don't need the photography specific application

Perfect for Travel and Everyday hustle

Bought this for a long trip with a newborn to store all the things (food/toys) that the little one will need. I was impressed with the amount of storage this bag had, I was able to store their food, toys, and still have space for my headphones, chargers, kindle and MacBook. The quality is top notch and it's beautifully designed, so glad I bought this.

15L Bone - Great Small Carry!

I recently purchased the 15L bone to use for a small carry when I just need to carry my camera, Fujifilm XT-3, and one or two lenses (usually including the Fujifilm 80mm Macro Lens, which is a bit hefty and long).
I took this bag to southern Florida to visit family for the holidays shortly after receiving it and it was a great small carry option to have for overnight on the train (just enough room for clothes and toiletries for the night and my laptop..13" MacBook Pro), and was a fantastic bag for the nature walks and other outings. There was plenty of room for my camera and 1-2 lenses, including the big macro lens, water bottle, towel, and also carry my niece's Canon M6 with zoom lens up top. Each day I had some room to spare as well.
I'm impressed with the roominess of this smaller bag compared to my 20L Everyday Backpack Version 1 with maglatch. The straps were much easier to use to hold a sweatshirt on the front of the bagged I found the full zip to be so useful for setting up the storage for the day and also getting items. I really like being able to open it up completely and modify it as needed.
The Bone color way is lovely, I really like how it looks with the tan and leather accents. The shoulder strap pads are very comfortable even after several hours of use and I really like the material.

I really love my EBP Zip. I've been using a lot of backpacks, both for camera & everyday ones. But the EBP Zip replaced them all. The bag is lighter than my old bags. The zipper is so much better than any other bags. It's so smooth, so well design - 270 degs, and secured. You will have to try it yourself to appreciate it. I can now easily access my tech pouch on the top part, my A7r4 & 1 backup lens in the middle section, and finally my Mavic 2 in the bottom section ... All in 1 effortless slide of the ultra zip.
But there's still some room for improvement. Mainly the laptop compartment. I have a 15" SurfaceBook and it barely fit in. I wish the laptop zipper could have been longer by 5cm, allowing the top opens a bit more. Because with the 15" SB2 in place it's very hard to access to the other sleeves & pockets.
The internal side pockets which are already good with magnets could be much much better if they're a touch deeper.

Perfect, perfect, bag, with one teeny tiny room for improvement

This bag is beyond excellent. The zippers operate smoothly and quickly, while not getting stuck or hesitant. The black color is sleek and stealth, love it. The inner compartment is large with plenty of pockets and sufficient padding for camera carry. I love the laptop and tablet sleeve entrance along with the added storage there. The magnetic closures for the side water bottle pockets are a nice touch, as well as the magnetic attachment in the back (luggage handle passthrough). My only, teen tiny complaint is that there are no outer pockets, which I greatly appreciate in terms of security, however, I found myself wish there was one - it could even have a tab zipper for securing it to another zipper - an ideal spot for this pocket would be on the bottom front. It would also be cool if this bag got the hidden side zipper pockets of the Travel Backpack - I use this all the time. This bag still deserves 5 stars and I'd buy it again even without improvements.

VERSATILE OPTION

It took me 5 mins to figure out my ideal configuration of the bag. During my 10 day travels, I discovered many more clever ways to utilize the bag while on the go at the airport or in transit. Great buy for the price.

Great smaller version of the original EDB

Having been a long time PD customer supporting every Kickstarter they make, I had to have the new smaller version of the classic Everyday Backpack.
I like the overall design and idea of 4 zippers without MagLatch. Having already the 20L I wanted a smaller backpack and this time I went with the Ash colour (it is lovely!). I will briefly mention the improvements I noticed:
The straps are softer and much more comfortable, especially underneath and on the edges - a welcome addition to one of the problems of the EDB. I like the incorporation of magnets throughout the bag (why not adding the strap ones from the EDB V2 as well?).

It's not all great though. Here are few small gripes:
- the top handle's opening is tight, thus not so comfortable to use. And I have to arrange the zippers on the side in order to not make my hand hurt.
- the main zippers are super LOUD - at least twice as loud as the ones on the EDB.

And here are some bigger problems:
- the laptop compartment is extremely tight. So tight that I barely fit my iPad Pro 12.9" (newest thinnest generation) with its smart keyboard. I even got some marks on the outer shell of the keyboard from taking it out. This is not OK. I will never put the iPad naked inside, because it will definitely bend;
- why on earth did PD put metal zippers on the inside right where your camera gear will be sitting??? A workaround is to tuck them in, but there is still a small metal part which could easily scratch my gear. Terrible decision.
