Awesome EDB!
on January 12, 2020

I bought the 20L when it was first released and have used it as my EDB ever since. I store my peak tech bag in the bottom, the middle allows you to fit a camera and 1 or 2 lenses, and the top allows a change of clothes or misc things you are carrying.
I keep a surface pro in the sleeve but it is hard to access and a little tight when the bag is full, the zipper should travel a little further down giving a bigger opening and making it a little easier to get stuff out of the laptop compartment. Never the less I also keep my external drive, mouse, and adapter in the little pockets in the laptop compartment.
Water bottle pockets are huge!
I am glad Peak decided to add a zip version of this bag!

Nice Color, Great design

15L, Bone color, very classic color which combined leather and white cream fabric. The inside is very neat. Premium quality and high precision. Only one small problem for me is very easy to be dirty and it's not easy to clean like the quick guide said. Actually 15L is somehow small than I think BUT there's only one option for this color and I love it so much. The good thing is the extra belt that easy to use to expand some carry on items. If you are a guy that bring many things please skip this option but if you can minimize your things into 15L backpack, I really recommend this

Best Backpack Ever

Well thought out design that anticipates needs - Everyday Backpack Zip 20L (placement of straps, hooks, and camera inserts). Adjustments that realizes not everyone is built the same (straps, zippers that can access left/right/top). Quality construction (zippers, materials). Weight - this was critical for me and I have carried this with and without the tripod (yours) for hours without pain or strain. Independent of camera equipment, I can see myself using this for short trips or as the carryon for longer trips (whenever that happens). I should mention that I'm 71yo with a damaged abdominal wall which means I don't have much core strength and no safe way to build abdominal core strength. This backpack means I can continue to do what I love without added pain.

Smaller than expected but still great

Let me say that I love the style of this bag and the smaller size, but it's just a little too small for a MacBook Pro + iPad Air with keyboard case. The two devices do not fit in the back slot, only one of them does, so you need to put the other in the main compartment. To do this, you are quite limited in “shelf” space. I will definitely use it when I'm only carrying one device, but doesn't work for both. The bag is completely fabulous in every way, especially with the side pockets, just needs a little more room for both devices in the back to 100% perfect.

Close to perfect for me

One issue I have with camera backpacks is that I am very petite, five feet tall and 100 lbs. Most look ridiculously big on me, and call attention to the fact I am carrying some expensive equipment. The 15L Everyday Backpack Zip is ideal for smaller people. It is sleek and not overwhelming at all. It is also very attractive. I can put a surprising amount of stuff in here, a Sony A7iii, Sony 70-200mm lens, Tamron 28-75mm lens, lens hoods, snacks, a sweatshirt or jacket (granted my clothes are also small). It may take some originality to get the dividers just the way you want them, but you can do it however you like, and can also use dividers from other Peak Design bags (I use one from my 10L sling). My 13" laptop or surface pro fit nicely in the laptop compartment. I would like to see one more feature...an outside zip pocket on the front for easy access to phone, keys, etc. Otherwise, it is a great bag.

Perfect for Work EDC

I researched for hours to find an EDC bag for work. The Everyday Backpack Zip 15L is absolutely perfect for what I need. The only gripe I have is that there are no magnets in the straps for stowing, but I can live without it. Work & Car Travel EDC: Samsung Tab S8+ (laptop pocket), Galaxy Buds, charging cords/bricks, power bank, pen, flashlight, Yeti tumbler, hat, lunch/snacks, memory cards/flash drives, Mighty Hank, multi-tool, knife, chapstick, gum. My entire EDC fits in the bag with room to spare and keeps everything protected in style!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great bag!

I recently took my zip backpack on a trip to Europe for a smaller option compared to my regular everyday backpack. I was surprised with how much it held still. I was able to fit my Sony a7ii with 28-70mm lens along with a 35mm, snacks, sunglasses, rain jacket, water bottle, iPad and still had room for some souvenirs. It felt lighter and was very comfortable hiking up the mountain. In the cities and on public transportation it was small enough that I didn’t feel I was invading other peoples space. I have the bone color and was also pleasantly surprised how well dirt came off. I like being in nature and do not worry about my bag when going through a cave or setting it down in the dirt, it held up great!
I would recommend this to a friend!

15L stores more than I thought

I was hemming and hawing between the 15L and 20L version of this backpack. Weight and size were important for me and I didn't want a bag what was bigger than what I needed. I currently used a 20L packable daypack and I wanted something that had more structure. I gambled with the 15L for the lighter weight and smaller footprint. I'm so happy that I did. It carries WAY more than my 20L. It must that space is so much more useful and organized. The only minor downside is if there's a laptop and ipad, the fit is pretty tight and it's difficult to get the laptop or ipad out with ease. Other than that it's perfect as a daily pack for work.
