Flawed - Could be so much better

Having purchased the camera strap system from Peak Design, I looked forward to owning the Messenger bag. As my other reviews have commended, the bag is well-designed, but the strap is terrible. It is too thin and short to easily allow the strap to be slung over the shoulder and have the bag at the waist level. When commuting on buses and trains, I want to have one hand on my bag and not have it behind me on my back. I am unaware of any modifications provided by Peak Design for this flaw.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best bag purchase

I’ve been using my everyday messenger bag for over a year now and it still does what i bought it for, and does it well. Very well constructed, strap is probably the most comfortable i’ve ever experienced, and space is more than adequate for whatever purpose i might need it for at the moment. The only reason i wont give it 5 stars is due to the relatively high price point but in my experience, it’s very much worth it

My v1 everyday messenger was worn out (zip and straps), and was delighted that the lifetime warranty meant I got sent a new bag.
Only gripe is that my old bag takes my 15” laptop, and the v2 doesn’t. But if you’re buying new, I’d say it was superbly designed and comfortable
I would recommend this to a friend!

Looks New and Love it More every day

Hard to believe I got this bag during the Kickstarter campaign, because it still looks new. But, what's better, is that it really serves a great purpose and I'm always finding different ways to use it.
It's really verstatile and very comfortable to wear.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Sleek design with magnets. I'm honestly a sucker for magnets and the dividers seem useful. Haven't used them yet but I'll probably bring this bag with me on trips

great upgrade from previous model

The product is very nice upgrade from the previous version of the messenger bag that I had. The parts that failed have been updated and are better now, using better material. The only problem is that it does not fit a 15 inch gaming laptop, they do mention in the bag that it fits comfortably up to a 14 inch laptop.

The best everyday backpack that is sleek and clean

I used this backpack for a while now and I've never used a product this well though out I used the V1 for a while but I think this V2 is even better yes it's smaller but it helps to have a better form and use of it, I love it and use it everyday !

I bought my PeakDesign Everyday Messenger years ago and traveled all over the world with this great camera bag. I bought other PeakDesign accessories and thought I could not be happier, then things changed... My V1 Messenger Bag began to fray at the carry strap till it was about to fail. I email PeakDesign and their staff was AWESOME. My new even better Everyday Messenger V2 bag arrived in days as warranty! Staff was friendly, informative, and products great.
All simple: Great products and impeccable staff and warranty. Cannot ask for more!
