Worth the money, seriously!!!

I am not a photographer but I LOVE this bag. I have used the bag for over 2 years and I am not gentle. I love being able to shift the inside storage dividers around the inside to get everything to fit well.
I have purchased several bags and backpacks and I either break them or after using them... can't stand them. I bought this because I thought I could return if I hated it... but now I am recommending them like crazy to my family and friends
I watched the YouTube videos on all the features and it really helped me use the bag to its fullest.

Excellent, thoughtful design

This is one of the best bags I've owned. It has quality construction, it is just the right size, and the magnetic closure feels great. The beauty here is the thought put into all of the little details, such as the additional strap attachment points, ease of adjustability, and how the bag has pockets everywhere but none of them seem superfluous.
This bag has one downfall, which can be frustrating for cyclists, but won't affect others. Although the storage straps are a nice touch, it is somewhat annoying and time-consuming to attach/detach/stow them if you are using them for cross-body support.

My First Messenger

I'd been using a backpack for a while and wanted to try out a messenger bag. After trying a few, I settled on the Peak Design Everyday Messenger. For me, the 13L size is the right balance of storage space and profile. I don't use cameras, which seem to have been in designer's mind, but found the flex/fold dividers to be very useful for various gear.
The only improvements I would suggest:
The top flap really won't stay open unless you hold it, requiring two hands to dig around inside. It's reinforced in that direction too, so folding it over the other way would probably ruin it.
The side pockets are the real reason I chose to try this bag, but they are stiff and kind of hard to use, with very little space.
Overall though, I'm very happy with the bag.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Had v1.5; upgraded to current v2. I use the bag primarily as a daily driver, rather than as a dedicated DSLR+kit bag. v2 improves upon v1.5 in a few key respects. (1) the placement of the 4 magnetic latch anchors seems effectively to increase the interior volume, and makes it possible to close the top securely when the bag is filled to brim. (2) the belt mechanism on the strap no longer slips while wearing the bag/under use. (3) the design of the ‘hidden’ zip pouch - beneath the canopy of the bag’s top panel - I think works better (relative to v1.5 design).
My only gripes: side pouches - while the addition of zippers very welcome! - are still WAY too stiff to be of much use. Two, I miss the dedicated laptop zip pouch on the bag’s exterior

My go to bag

I have used the Everyday Messenger Bag since 2016. I have two of them as my wife and I both shoot professionally. They look good and function even better. This is my go to bag for weddings and sporting events. I would like to say that I have grown to love their gear, but honestly it happened quickly. I have several other peak design bags, camera straps, plates, etc. I recently bought their phone case and phone tripod. I just love everything they put out. I want to buy their tripod (I bought it for a place I used to work), but just don't use tripods enough... now I'm thinking of expanding my services to something that would need a great tripod.... I already have great bags to get to the shoot!

I bought the messenger bag for a recent trip as a substitute for a PD backpack as the weather was going to be hot and the backpack would certainly have been warm to wear. The messenger bag performed well for me to carry my Canon 5D, 24-70mm and 70-200mm zoom lenses. I also bought a clip to attach the camera to the strap but found that the strap was too flimsy. The strap needs to be more like the sling. The strap should also have. a loop for a tether to the camera on the clip. I am not yet confident with the clip and a tether to the strap long enough to bring up to position would be great.

The search for a work bag is over!

When I purchased this bag in 2020 I was heavily searching for the best looking most durable bag and could not find anything until I met a random stranger in Disney with the coolest camera bag I’ve ever seen. I wanted a laptop bag but he was using it as a camera bag and could not say enough good things about it. After using this bag consistently over the past few years, I also can not say enough good things about it. Stylish, durable and so well thought out! The zipper placements, pockets, movable inserts- this bag is so convenient.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Solid and versatile

I spent sort of an absurd amount of time recently trying to find the best bag for my newly upgraded camera set up. Goal #1 was for it be versatile, easy to use, and durable. Goal #2 (a close second) was for it to look nice at the same time (something that can't be said for an awful lot of bags out there.
For starters, this bag appears to be bomb-proof. I can't imagine it ever wearing out or failing. Hopefully my kids (grandkids) will eventually like it too. The origami dividers, thoughtfully placed pockets, opening clasp, etc. also all easily check the versatility box for me. Good looks are subjective, but to me it's great and looks refined and extremely well made. Ask me again in a few years, but for now this checks all of my boxes and then some.
