The V2 is a nearly perfect bag - still 5 stars

I bike commute to work nearly every day, year 'round, have done so for years. Have had the Osprey Messenger bags, was looking for something more refined, more compact, lighter. The Everyday Messenger v2 hits all the right notes, with only a couple minor issues (for me). I received the bag 2 weeks ago, have been using it everyday since.
The good: stellar overall design, superb materials, great latch. The structured construction helps keep the bag open when filling it. Everyday I carry my work clothes, Lenovo X1 Carbon 14" laptop, bike tools, slim first aid kit, 2 phones in an external case attached to the main strap, a slim underwater camera, wallet...a LOT of stuff. It barely fits but it does. It's about 13 lbs.
Once I got the straps adjusted to my liking, this bag carries that bulk and weight BEAUTIFULLY - the balance and snugness are spot on. Even though the main strap padding is very thin, IT WORKS. It is the smallest possible bag that could carry all that stuff, and it's already proven to be waterproof.
The minor nits: my 14" super-thin laptop just barely fits - adding just 1/4" to the width would make it much easier to get in an out (yes, I know this is listed as a '13"' laptop bag but the measurements are SO close). The padding between the laptop and my back - too thin - when I've got the bag full, I can feel the laptop.
Minor nit #2: the pockets - make them deeper, and for the hidden pocket, make the sections wider.
But. Utterly. Stellar. Bag. LOVE IT.

This bag is a winner!

I just received the 13L V2 Messenger in Black about a week ago and I'm very pleased with it so far. I was concerned about the capacity since they did away with the 15 inch version but that doesn't appear to be an issue. The size is almost perfect for my Nikon mirrorless kit. The bag can fit my Z6 with the massive 105 f/1.4 lens adapted, 2 smaller 1.8 primes, plus a 70-200 2.8 with no problem. I could probably squeeze in a second body and/or speed light if necessary.
Another highlight for me is the Capture Clip attachment points. I had stopped using my Capture because I didn't like having it on my backpack strap. The attachment points on this bag are far more comfortable and just as functional.
I don't own a V1 or V1.5 Everyday Messenger to compare this model to, but the V2 messenger is an awesome bag and I highly recommend it.

Best bag for work, travel, and outdoor use

I use the messenger bag everyday for work, with a laptop, tablet, and everything else I need for the day. It all fits, with no bulk, and with easy strap adjustment. When I'm travelling, it expands to handle more stuff, with lots of pockets and slots perfectly situated for things like passports and chargers. It's also the best bag to travel with outdoors, easily and safely handling enough camera equipment and electronics to get me through the day.
Best bag ever - I was so lucky to receive it as a gift from my kids!

My everyday commute bag

Have used my bag commute everyday. Almost no tear or wear on the materials. Got a broken zipper after three years. The lifetime warranty gave me a brand new bag. Earlier I wored out one bag a year. Best bag ever - best customer support ever!

Top notch gear!

This is a great message bag, the build quality is solid it will last for years and it has a great guarantee. Easily find space for my Camera and four lenses. Easily converts to carrying documents. Even used it for a overnight bag. It's comfortable to carrying with the wide adjustable strap. Probably one of the best products PD has ever made!

I bought this bag nearly two years ago and use it as a photo bag. A Fuji X-T3 with 3 lenses (2 Zoomlenses, 1 Fixed) and my 11" Ipad Pro will fit in there without any problems.

Dependable go-to bag

I was a customer of the Peak Design clips and straps. When I red that they were crowd funding a bag, I signed up right away. when the bag(brown)was delivered, there was no disappointment. I've used the bag as my go-to bag ever since.I had a problem with the strap after 6 years and they resolved it right away. I own a lot of camera bags. I could never find one that I truly liked or that was versatile enough. This bag ticks a lot of boxes for me and been by my side way more than any other.

what does one have to do to get a 15in capacity v2 messenger?

like the title states, what would i have to do to get a 15in capacity v2 messenger? i purchased the v1.5 and absolutely loved it but would love to upgrade to the v2. it looks so much cleaner than the v1.5. would honestly be willing to pay a higher price to get a v2 15in capacity made to order. i NEED it. please, peak design, make this a thing. i implore you guys!
