I did a lot of research before buying the messenger v2. There was always something I didn't like about the other bags but I loved everything I saw for the everyday messenger bag. All the videos and the information on your website and YouTube channel were spot on.
Once I got my bag you can tell how good build quality it has. Every detail, pocket and zipper is perfectly made.
I love how it can expand and fit from very little with a very slim profile to all I could need everyday.
I don't use it for any photography purposes but it still works great. My iPad Pro 12.9' fits a bit tight with the cover, a bit more space in that compartment for future revisions would be good.
Other than that it's a great product, totally recommend it to anyone who's looking for a modern but still professional looking messenger bag.

I have used the 13 everyday messages bag for several years with great success. I purchased a new OM D X1 and the 13 inch was a little small. The extra size of the 15 inch works great with 2 camera bodies and longer lenes. At first I planned to sell the 13 but decided to keep for different types shoots. Some nice improvement to the system since I purchased the first bag.

Great bag, but not as good as V1

I used the V1 for a long time, maybe 3 years. Had it replaced since one of the zippers failed.

1. No separate zipper for laptop. This was a great feature.
2. Smaller and harder to get accessories pocket.
3. No top zipper, now you need to open the whole bag.
4. Doesn't stand up on its own as stably.
5. The color options are more mundane, I liked the canvas color.
6. The tripod holder had a nice pocket I liked.
7. There is not a good place now for things like a passport in the document holder. It makes it harder to use the bag when flying.
8. Bit harder go open since it wants to stay closed.

Overall, it's more modern but I immediately was disappointed by a lot of the changes after living with the previous bag for a long time. It was pretty much perfect. If only the iterations were iterations and not a complete redesign that'd be great.
However, the service PD has is amazing. I got this bag for free as a replacement due to the zipper issue. In retrospect, I should have asked for the V1.5 version instead, but too late now!

Worth the $

I have never spent this much money on a bag of any kind, but I fell in love with the design focused nature of the gear by Peak Design. Given that this is literally an every-day bag for me, I though I'll try it and I'm glad I did. There's a huge divide in usability and enjoyment when something is designed this well vs. a generic bag. Material quality especially is well chosen. I get lots of compliments on the bag, and more than a year in it's perfect. I've bought several other products from Peak and I'm happy with all of them!

The functional design of PD's daily series is basically unmatched, but as a popular EDC package, the biggest weakness is the weight brought by protection.

This is my first experience with everyday carry bag
I never tried first version,
I don't use it for cameras or photography gadgets,

But I really loved the concept of compartmentilazation and high quality materials, it just happens to carry and protect all my work essentials in an easy to access and easy to carry manner.
What I use it for : my syprface pro 7 in a sleeve and it's charger and USB hub, my coffee thermos, some ducuments, keys, wallets, ID badge, vape devices, assortment of pens, power bank, travel wall plug, USB stick among others,

Price is a bit on the higher side, but I believe it's worthwhile it for my needs
