Versatility at my side

I ordered the every day messenger v2 to my arsenal of Peak Design equipment due to its size, and the fact that it sits at your side. It's very comfortable, and it fits a lot (A LOT) which I'm very happy with. I appreciate the easy access at my hip side, and the new side pockets are a really nice touch. I recommend.

I have version 1 of the bag and I absolutely love it. Durable, easy to access and customize, comfortable. Very, very pleased with my purchase. Hard to see where people would find fault with this bag.

Great messenger bag

It is always all about Design, Quality and Functionality.
I recently bought this V2 in a retail shop, knowing V1 (or V1.5) already from a friend, with the hope to get the same extraordinary usability combined with a greater design. Unfortunately I returned it and bought here one of the last V1.5 messenger.

Advantages - relevant for me
- yes, a new design which is a bit better than the prev. one
- new zipper concept for the front pocket
- some new interieur pockets
- zipper for the side-pockets

Disadvantages compared to V1.5
- no external access to the MacBook
I tried it out several times with this V2 version, but I gave up - always totally open the bag is a step backward
- no quick access via zipper to smaller items of the main compartement
- front pocket is much too small, even with the better access via the new zipper concept (this was important to me)

Unfortunately the design with V2 was pushed a bit too strong. Especially the very special features with the external access to the main compartment and the external MacBook pocket are lost for a cleaner look. That´s a pity. Really! Another example is the luggage pass-through which overtakes the complete back now, which is a bit lost of space. The V1.5 solution worked already and looked great.
Nevertheless, it is still an outstanding bag and worth to buy. But it lost some extra-ordinary features to improve the design. You do not make something wrong buying this version. The quality is simple worth a wow!

Best Bags and Backpacks Ever

I am a fan of Peak Design's products. Each is thoughtfully designed with just the right Set of feature. Straps are interchangeable for carrying cameras, tripods, or small bags. Their camera Capture Clip attaches to back pack straps, your pants belt, and all of their bags. Clever, and it solves the problem of getting your camera out, quickly,when out on a shoot. Every product comes with a thoughtful instruction booklet that covers features and their proper use. There are also instructional videos for most products. Materials and craftsmanship are outstanding and customer service, responsive. I use their Field Pouch for my wallet, glasses and mask, their Everyday Messenger for a camera and lenses and their Everyday Backpack when traveling, or when I need more space. I could not be more satisfied with Peak Design's products.

Great camera bag

I was looking for a durable, easy to carry, sleek looking bag that I could fit my camera and 3 lenses and still have a little bit of room for something else. This was great. The whole family of straps and clips are engineered to perfection.

This is an awesome update. I got it for my husband and he loves it. I have the previous version and I thought the zipper access was awesome, so I LOVE it! But my husband thinks this one is way better, and the pockets are pretty awesome.

Honestly the best camera bag i've ever owned

I bought the very first everyday messenger years ago and this latest version is really superb. I've been a commercial photographer for 20 years and used just about every kind of bag and case you can imagine to lug my gear around- most of them were clunky, bulky, ugly black bags that would have been better loaded up with sand and used for crossfit!
This messenger bag easily holds my dslr, 3 lenses, batteries, microphone and more in a super comfortable and stylish shape. The clever and lightweight design, multiple accessory spots pockets and remarkably useful inserts make this bag a dream to shoot with. Add to that Peak Design's fantastic customer service and it now seems ridiculous to even consider buying from anyone else. Thanks very much PD for making my job easier!
