Fantastic bag.

This is a great messenger style bag for everyday use. It’s nice and roomy with plenty of room for almost any camera or day to day gear you might need. I only have two complaints, the magnetic latch is a little bit funky to get closed properly and I really wish the side pockets both had loops for the key holder.
I often use this bag when I’m riding my bike to and from college classes and it has been perfect for this application.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great support but weird feeling fabric

Great product overall, but I'm not happy with the fabric which is kinda scratchy and I'm afraid it'll ruin my cloth when I frequently slide it back and forth.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am pretty obsessed with Peak design bags and I got this after a warranty claim on my 1st gen 15 liter messenger.
There is so much to love about this bag compared to the previous gen:
1. Improved materials. The shell looks indestructible, the blacked out version looks like it was designed for Batman, the zipper is stronger.
2. Improved design. Strap functions better and is more adjustable. The padding is awesome.
3. Side pockets with zippers!

Even though I will list some criticisms I still consider this an excellent bag.
1. The flap/cover of the bag is so stiff that it won't stay open easily. It's aggressively wanting to stay closed.
2. Less organization/ space in the front zipped accessories pocket than previous gen.
3. No 15 liter version.

Expectation and reality align

Had v1.5; upgraded to current v2. I use the bag primarily as a daily driver, rather than as a dedicated DSLR+kit bag. v2 improves upon v1.5 in a few key respects. (1) the placement of the 4 magnetic latch anchors seems effectively to increase the interior volume, and makes it possible to close the top securely when the bag is filled to brim. (2) the belt mechanism on the strap no longer slips while wearing the bag/under use. (3) the design of the ‘hidden’ zip pouch - beneath the canopy of the bag’s top panel - I think works better (relative to v1.5 design).
My only gripes: side pouches - while the addition of zippers very welcome! - are still WAY too stiff to be of much use. Two, I miss the dedicated laptop zip pouch on the bag’s exterior

Size is awesome

I bought this bag about six weeks ago preparing for a trip to South America. The flexibility of having a shoulder strap Plus hand bag type straps. makes it very flexible in its size. It is extremely lightweight and so far I have not found anything that I would change . It’s perfect

Great bag, very comfortable to carry, looks good and not too obviously a camera or laptop bag. Can comfortably hold my camera, laptop and laptop or photo accessories or combinations. The outside pockets could be great but get difficult to use if the main body, especially the stretchy side pockets, are full. The key tether is great, but there should be an anchor in both outside pockets for those who carry the bag on their left. Would love to have zippers at the top and bottom of the luggage sleeve so it could be used as a pocket when not travelling. And it's crying out for an accessory water bottle holder that makes use of the Capture attachment slot!
