The bag you need. A messenger with the depth of a photo bag. Sturdy as, brainy features, designed and made with love by a planet loving B Corp. If you’re not sure, watch the You Tube how to clip. Best ever, it will walk you through its features. Yes, it really is that good. Thanks so much, John

V1 & V1.5 are way better.

I originally had the v1 13" everyday messenger bag and loved it! I use it for weddings and when my v1 started to fall apart (I use my bags as intended and don't baby it) I looked into the v2 that a fellow photographer had. We both didn't like how smaller and more cumbersome it was to use compared to the v1. I ended up with the inbetween version, where they had a slight update on the v1...I call it the v1.5 where they added the luggage pass through and a few small upgrades to the interior of the bag but mostly kept everything good that the v1 had and this bag is my favorite out of them all!
The issue w/ the v2 is the cover is so rigid that it's difficult to over-pack it when needed. w/ the v1 & v1.5, I can easily fit a tripod/lightstand inside laid across the top and use the latch cover to hold it in place. This new v2 is still a solid bag and probablyt he most stylish of the bunch AND if you've never experienced how awesome v1 & v1.5 is, then you won't feel like you're missing out.

I am a big fan of the original messenger bag, it had many features that I found very useful and unique, example, top access zipper, front Pouch (large size). fabric was also nicer, even though it has discoloration problems.I hope that V3 messenger will bring back some of those useful features.

The tag containing the bag’s serial number is too small and too deep to assess. Contradict to the bag’s idea.

Good size; too camera specific

Would be more useful if the side padding could be removed for everyday use. Would not recommend except as very specific camera bag.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The storage capacity of the pocket is less than V1. Put the shoulder strap on your shoulder and it will be twisted. Conspicuous when the bottom is dirty or scratched. Bag divider has become solid.

Great all round bag - and a good camera messenger

The Everyday Messenger V2 replaces a Timbuk2 messenger that is nearing 20 years old. I wanted a messenger that holds a laptop, has customizable compartments for camera gear, has a cinch to prevent bag swinging around when cycling, some degree of water resistance, a carry handle, and a minimalistic look. Secure fastners and having a number of internal compartments is very important to me, too. I'm a very picky bag buyer and do a lot of research (I follow Carryology, /r/ManyBaggers and other reviewers) before selecting a bag, so this bag has really met my needs. For travel (flights), the bag is excellent in carrying my electronics and travel docs. It holds my essentials (charging cables, water bottle, mints, medicines, etc.) and fits neatly under the seat in front of me. For trips in town, the bag is good even for small grocery trips. For commuting, the cinch keeps the bag from swinging around and it holds all of my essentials: laptop, Moleskine notebook, headset, mouse, AC charger, and some other things. I keep at least one of the dividers in my bag, so I can organize things easily. One of the things I detest is the trouble in rummaging around for something buried in a bag. The bag is slightly smaller than my older Timbuk2 messenger, but it forces me to be a bit more minimalistic and organized - and with its features, this bag is much more sensible for an all-round bag. I also have a PD sling and dual plate for my mirrorless, and the bag is even more versatile having a mount point on the bag (actually there are 2) for the Capture Clip.
