I had a V1, but the straps started squeaking. Peak design offered to replace it with a V2. I’m very happy with it and even happier with the customer service! I wish it had a fess more smaller pockets like the right “wing” of the V1 but I can’t complain!
I read multiple reviews before i purchased this, it's not cheap and not very everyone but it's well worth it. They've thought of everything and even things you didn't think you'd need have been included to make for a worthy experience. For the price i hope it's durable and long lasting.
I eventually returned my EDB v2. It was catching onto my wooly bouses and t-shirts almost like velcro. Also, the 20l version barely fit Dell XPS 15 and it wasn't easy to take the laptop out through narrow top access. I liked the spacious side access and shelves, though.
Allows me to carry a camera, three or four lenses and a pouch full of accessories safely all day long. Put the capture on a strap and you’re good to go.
I wish the sleeve thingy for the luggage handle has a way to be secured. I don't always have a luggage with me and the sleeve can be used for passport/wallet storage.
This backpack is one of the best out there! The quality and thoughtfulness are top-tier! I love the side zippers, top hatch, many pockets, colors and variable sizes. I can fit 2 film cameras, extra lenses, rolls of film and a vintage polaroid all in a 20L...and still have room!
This bag has been with me through so much and it’s held up so well! While I still love the bag, I do find that it’s slightly heavy overall. That said, this is still the only bag I carry and will continue to carry.
Excellent built quality. The real advantages of these bags appear when you use them "everyday" ! I particularly like to be able to access the content from the side.
