I’ve been using this bag as my every day bag for a month and it’s usage is limitless. I can carry my laptop, full camera gear, some extra clothes, and every bit of tech I need like charges with ease. Super comfy to wear too.
I own most of the everyday bags. but this is the one i use the most. I love how versatile it is and the fact that I'm not worried about the gear when I use it. used it to travel, photography walks, camping and everything in between. I like that it has a smaller size for small people like me. (150cm/5' 2). I keep recommending and showing it off. I'm becoming a walking infomercial for peak design. but this one the most.
Let me start out by saying I am a big PD fan. I have the every day backpack in 21l and 31l, the every day messenger, tripods in aluminum and carbon fiber, the 6l sling, the capture clip, and 3 camera straps, even the freaking iphone case. I love the design of the backpack. It’s neck and neck with the Wandrd PRVKE as the best looking camera backpacks. I used to shoot Sony and Leica M. I sold my Sony and moved to Canon and the RF L series lenses. The 21l became way too small. It was awkward even to hold the R5 + 28-70. I spoke to other photographers and upgraded to the 31l. The 31l will hold my camera, 3 L series lenses, and even my strobe. But the size makes me look like I am going camping. And seriously, where is the sage color?! I settled for the Navy, which is yawn, just like the grey and charcoal. Overall love the quality, material, and design. I guess there is no perfect backpack. But PD will always be my love and hate backpack, 90% love, of course.
Like all PD products, this is a joy. It was fun to investigate and compare, but ultimately it is intuitive to use. Everything is so well thought out. No detail left unaddressed. The quality of the exterior, the flexibility of layout internally, and the multiple points of access make this the ultimate photo gear bag.
I am a doctor, bought a month ago, and it worked perfectly for my needs. The black color tends to get dirty easily but this is only a small drawback. I am very satisfied with my purchase
Great backpack, love the design, the bag has served me really well but I had a couple of issues after 3 years of owning the backpack using it everyday (which is kind of expected). I thought I would contact customer service as I have heard really good things about the support they provide. Glad I did as they were super efficient, friendly and went the extra mile to help me out! Peak Designs products are expensive, but there is a reason why and its not just the quality which is great, its the R&D driving innovation and the CS is second to none. I have no hesitation to recommend their products to anyone.
