I bought this for a work trip and it was very helpful on the plane with the side access and pockets. It also looks very slick and the rigidity makes it comfortable to carry and protects contents. Downside is that it is a bit expensive and heavy. The laptop and tablet access is a good feature and it would be nice if it was even bigger to allow for more notebook sized items. I had to remove the sectional dividers from the main cavity so that I could fit in my magazines and books and notebooks.
Bought this for not only carrying my camera equipment, but carrying everything i take to the office. This backpack is so awesome that we have even used it as a combo diaper/camera/snack/hoodie bag when on vacation. And even with all that it was still comfortable to wear all day. If you’re on the fence then i would suggest of thinking about all the applications you can use it for, you’ll probably surprise yourself haha
Backpack was bought on PD marketplace. Overall fantastic bag. My marketplace purchase looked brand new. I used it on a trip where it help my Mavic 3, 3 extra batteries, controller, tech pouch, 16" 2021 MacBook Pro, Steam Deck, and iPad without issue. Only reason for 4/5 is the magnets that hold the straps help digging into my shoulders and easily felt even through a hoodie.
I bought mine for my photo gear: compact, sturdy, obviously designed by and for photographers. Flexible dividers are genius. But my husband borrowed it for a traveling backpack for work, and loved it as well, so we bought a second.
My name is Thiago and I live in Brazil. It's not easy to find Peak Design products here, so I asked a friend to bring them from the USA.
The backpack surprised me. I'm not a photographer and I use it as a day-to-day backpack and the build quality, the carefully thought out details make it the best backpack I've ever owned.
I will always be a Peak Design customer and will soon buy the iphone case and wallet.
I do recommend this bag. I'm an architect and urbanist, who used to be a professional photographer. So, I need to carry my m15 alienware notebook everywhere, razer headphones, glasses, pens, pencils, sketchbook, as well as photo camera and a small everyday gear. Finding a bag that would allow me to fit all this comfortably, and just walk to the subway station ( long 30min walk ) and commute, work, come back home, and have all I need at my fingertips at all times, was an ordeal. The Everyday backpack is pricey, and having to purchase from Brazil made it a complicated ordeal. But it was worth it, and worth every cent, with an amazing build quality and attention to detail. So I would not like a reduced price in name of reduced quality. If you do want the very best, and is willing to make one purchase you won't regret, this is a sure bet.
