I'm going to give 4 for two reasons. First of all the first day one of the magnets came unattached from the straps and now it digs into my back. The other complaint I have is that the bag itself seems to have more space than it does. With so much material you loose space. I love it, Just didn't think something would break so fast.
I bought my Everyday Backpack in late November 2021 but I have not used it yet, lack of "office" equipment pockets is why. Part of why I don't us the Peak Design bag is because of the resurgence of Covid. I produce a radio show and camera bags make great audio equipment carriers and the PD backpack was going to be perfect. I always thought I'd work out the office accommodations later. So here's my question, do you think there would be a market for an office cube? Something like an oversized portfolio with a built in iPad sleeve, pockets for pens and pencils, notebooks, power bank etc.

As with all PD products, the Everyday Backpack is stylish and outrageously well-designed. The team thought of literally everything and the bag does its job very well. However it's also unusually heavy which makes the narrow and lightly padded straps less comfortable and the bag less appealing to use overall. The frame, which maintains the bag's shape and prevents collapsing, also makes it difficult to access things in the top pocket. This is especially true when the bag is full.

I love this backpack while back pack. It’s quick access mag latch section, side access, the divider system, huge side pocket, and easy to use sternum strap.

Everything in the introductory video is true and working, as i got the bag it had some cosmetic nicks on the leather which i didnt mind because i had an international flight, nothing to be functionally not working. Some things that can be improved is that the hooks on the front when in use pull the front of the bag outwards, that makes the top of the zippers fold inwards making them hard to open and close. The bag is heavy which is not bad considering it holds its form at 1.5 kgs, the most important thing is with a 2.5 kg laptop a full body dslr and and extra lens + an ipad, + a huge powerbank and all the accessories which are heavy, at 10 KGs it isnt hard to carry at all, it is heavy but it isnt annoying on your shoulders if you close the front strappy thingy.

A good and strong backpack

The backpack is a strong one. It is very useful for me when studying, changing between carrying various things using the different flexifold compartments, and knocking through to place books in the entire interior volume. It also worked wonderfully when I worked as a content producer in the past - carrying camera, lenses and that sort. Only annoyance is that the flexifold dividers gets rather ugly when worn a bit at the edges, with strings coming off the fabric (bit that doesn’t do anything to functionality).
