I bought this camera for my travels to Namibia and South Africa. I wanted something light, but big enough to hold my Nikon Z6 with 2 lenses. This was perfect. I LOVE the side zipper - so easy to get to camera quickly! I was able to store all my extras - charger, extra battery and also still store personal items in the top part. Also I loved how easy it is to clean and that it keeps its shape!
I use this backpack daily, it fits my daily camera gear and mu daily work stuff. The only down side I have is that the capture and camera clip does not fit very well even both being peak design.
I had a few other camera bags and they all had a flaw. Couldn’t access the laptop or not enough space for equipment, but the everyday rocks the all. And it looks sick.
From the moment I opened the package with my Everyday Backpack V2, I could tell that high quality was a recurring theme in nearly every detail of the bag. From the attention to detail to the zippers and various convertible storage dividers, this bag is not just for camera people, but for anyone wanting to up their game in the backpack department. I particularly love the look and DWR exterior of this bag.
Bought this a few weeks ago , for a big design feature was being able to carry my 12.9" ipad along with the laptop. The constructions is excellent, my spouse who owns a business making bags and purses commented to me on the quality of the construction and design. I love the flexability to organize based on the shelves. If not quite as many pockets due to its design intent to also carry camera etc. I got the gadget bag, slip it into the bottom and mount the shelf over it. So then plenty of great storage for cables, adapters etc. Overall awesome bag. Live near the rockes so also plan to use this for day hikes and a grab a go bag for when I'm out in my VW Bus camper!
The bag is very well built, and the materials are high quality. The details are very well though-out.
However, I do wish few things were done differently. I wish the internal separators would have the ability to attach to one side of the bag (the flat back side) on the inside, creating a hollow pocket that is smaller but as a result allows you to store something flat like an A5 or A4 notebook or a tablet inside the bag (without using the back laptop packets or removing the dividers all together).
Additionally, I also wish the strap would have more cushioning as it does tend to get uncomfortable when wearing the bag for a while. And the fact it isn't that wide doesn't help either.
Other than that (and maybe a tiny pocket on the outside above the side water bottle pockets) the backpack is great, and very well designed.
I bought the Everyday second version about a month ago. It was more expensive the any other bag I have, but I wanted to see what I would get for the extra cash. Well, I found out you definitely get what you pay for. The best thing about it 8s the superior design touches throughout the bag. I love the latched cover. It makes getting my camera in and out so much easier than other bags. The side openings makes packing, repacking and unpacking a breeze. Then there are the dividers — genius. I love the flexibility to divide the inner space on-the-fly. Plus all the zippers are super smooth. It’s the best bag ever.
