The best non camera bag looking camera bag

I have struggled for years to find a camera bag that doesn’t look like a camera bag! This changed that and I won’t ever use another bag again. It’s so well made, practical, masses of space for a small bag and looks amazing

Great looking bag but with 2 flaws

I wanted a small backpack that would look great in almost every occasion and I almost found what I was looking for in the 15L, midnight version of the Zip. I love the color, the dividers and the overall structure and features of the bag (I also own the Zip 20L and the 30L).
But there’s definitely room for improvement. I’m 1,70m and 68kg but still the bag looks kinda small on me and also it’s not very comfortable. Actually, it’s less comfortable than all 8 premium backpacks I own. The 20L version is much more comfortable.
Furthermore, I think there’s a major issue with the bottle holders because when the internal dividers are wide open (as they should) it’s very, very difficult to fit in both water holders with bottles. What I’ve done to solve this issue is that I keep both the dividers half wrapped (like seen in the pictures), so there is enough room for the bottle holders to expand. This is a major design flaw if you ask me, not expected from Peak Design. When I use the key leash (which is, always) things are getting even more tight.
Overall I really like the bag, the organization, the dividers etc, as well as the 20L (which solves all of the above issues, but it’s just too big for everyday use). So the (almost) perfect edition of the Zip bag for me would be an 18L version. I would sell both my 15L and my 20L and I would buy an 18L in a heartbeat!

Great design and overall built quality...but...

I would love to give my everyday backpack full 5 stars. The overall built quality is great and the design well thought through. However, what really bothers me is that the shoulder straps will not last long, the body-facing material is too soft and delicate. After just a couple weeks of normal carrying, it showed some serious wear and tear (see pictures). The straps show the most wear and tear, where it touches the bagpack's own material. It is a real pity.

Great, versatile backpack

After two years of use, I can honestly say that this is the most comfortable backpack I have ever had. The 270-degree zipper gives you the option of opening it like a suitcase, which is extremely convenient for everyday quick packing. I've had an EDBv1 20L and a Sling 10L before, but the EDBv2 15L Zip is the perfect half-measure. It is a pity that there are no magnetic strips like in EDBv2 and holders for hanging straps. I dealt with it myself, a little non-invasive modification. I usually carry a tablet, Tech Pouch and a raincoat inside, but I can easily stuff my SLR camera. Furthermore, I was surprised that the Travel Tripod can be squeezed inside.

Downsized from 20L to 15L

I used used to use the 20L everyday backpack V1 and V2, then i got the 15L everyday backpack zip in bone colour. Its size is way suitable for me as a 168cm tall Asian. The capacity is fine for my everyday carrying, but not if you carry a lot of A4 sized stuff this may be less suitable compared with the 20L. The main slight noticeable feature are the zips that makes top of the bag entry easier but no expansion like the 20L. Also there's no magnetic back to home the straps in the body. Beware that then bone colour does get dirty easily

Firstly, why not offer the 20L Zip in Bone?! I feel like female Peak Design customers are getting duped because we can't get the feminine color scheme in full capacity. Anyway, I got this bag after trying the 20L Totepack and have since realized that bag volume is a moving target and rarely indicates actual capacity. The 15L Zip can carry as much as the 20L Totepack AND having the exterior pockets allows for extra room inside. Plus, this bag allows for much easier access with the full zip feature. I intend to use this as a carry-on, holding both my and my 2-year-olds necessities. It's nice to have a diaper bag that will continue to be a useful, sturdy bag once the kids can carry their own stuff. Absolutely love the flexible interior organization and beautiful style of the bag.

Modern design and light Camera Backpack

The design of Everyday v2 Backpack is very modern and convenient. The excellent build quality and the functionality to put in/out simply. Designed for both the dedicated photographer, and the everyday commuter, this new addition to the Peak Design Everyday line of bags is ideal for everyday carry and light photo carry, making it the perfect bag to bring for just about any occasion. It is a functionally simpler version of their famous Everyday Backpack and includes 2 separate configurable FledFold dividers to keep all photo, drone, and everyday gear organized, protected, and safely secure instead of bunched at the bottom. The outer shell is made of 100% recycled 400D weatherproof materials to keep everything dry during a downpour.
