Overall I’m a huge fan

I bought this bag after outgrowing the smaller version of this, and I love it. The color (dark blue) is beautiful, and the bag is big enough for my camera and a few lenses, but not so huge that I look like I’m going on a hike. I love the clamshell opening when I need it, and the flexibility of the shelves suites my needs. I appreciate the added straps for carrying extra cargo externally—great to have a place for a jacket or extra tripod when I’m on the job. My only suggestion for the next version would be to make the side pockets larger or more flexible. I can easily fit a small tripod in there, but putting in a bottle of water seems more cumbersome than it should be. Overall, I’m a huge fan.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great for an EDC bag, even with no camera!

I purchased this to be my new EDC as other bags typically only have a larger center compartment. Gone are the days of carrying documents and books for me. This allows me to rearrange the inside to fit the items normally in my bag without having weight distributed funny and everything shifting all the time. I also love the number of pockets, the specific laptop/tablet sleeves, and the two water bottles. It takes some getting used to (for the better), but the shoulder straps being on a hinge work better than I thought, too.

I bought this 3 years ago, and am overall extremely happy with it. I use it to transport my laptop and accessories and all other stuff to/from work (walking some distance).
Only downside are the adjustable straps, they doesn't grip enough and instead slips. Both on shoulder straps and over-chest strap. After a while it means that the backpack is far down my back, too far for my liking.
