Everything I Needed!

I bought the 15l in ash specifically for two trips this spring and I was not disappointed! The bag kept me super organized for a work trip and fulfilled all the various needs during a 3 week trip to Europe.
Being able to reorganize the inside based on changing needs is a fantastic feature. It went from a carryon bag with all my travel needs to a hiking and picnic pack to a city pack with my camera safely stowed in every scenario.
So happy I went with my gut and spent the extra money on this one. I’ll be using it very happily for years.

It fits more than I thought!

Getting ready to take a flight for a quick family event and wanted to bring the camera and a few goodies. Also needed a new general all around for fun shooting bag. You know, for when I want more than just a camera but don’t wanna take the whole studio.
This bag fits the bill… and the profile… for both. Perfect for the airplane and little to medium photo safari trips.
Can pack a camera, a couple of lenses, windbreaker and some road snacks - easy peasey!
I also discovered that my MacBook Pro max fits too!
Now, the debate is do I really wanna bring the laptop? I mean, it will grift. But, then I will feel guilty if I don’t actually want to do work while on the road…

Just wanted a smaller everday city bag but the 45L version seemed to big for.
I decided to go with the Backpack Zip 20L and I am more than happy with.

high quality
The design of the backpack pleases me a lot, I am one of those people who like simple but useful things and I think this design is it. It is also very comfortable, it adjusted to my size. Very useful to carry various things, both in my day to day life and when I go to travel on weekends, the quality of the materials is great.

A bag for everyday use and every occasion.

Review of a bag after approximately 1 month of use. This is a bag designed for everyday use, with the ability to carry a camera. However, if you are looking for a camera bag for professional use, you should choose a different brand. That's great to hear that it meets your needs! If you're ready to make a purchase, the 30L model and the sling version would definitely be worth considering.

LOVE this bag

I bought this bag to be my personal item for a trip to Europe, and I am SO glad I did! I chose the 20L pack and it was absolutely perfect. The things I like best: the structure of the pack is on point. Rigid enough to hold its shape, but it’s still flexible. The top zip compartment was perfect for in flight necessities, and the back zippered compartment held my kindle and passport securely. Overall, love this bag!

Cool, One of the Best, Keeping it for sure, but...

I wanted a combo daypack and camera bag, researched heavily, and chose this one. Loved the intro videos. Felt like I had good advance knowledge. After nearly a month, I like the bag and think I made the best choice.
That said, the bag's main strength is also a weakness -- it is (choose your adjective) firm, stiff, tight, crisp, shaped. It is not loose, soft, cozy, cushy, etc. So, good for laptop, good for carrying once packed, good for slipping around on one strap to get to side camera opening, good for carrying by hand or shoulders, etc...
...but NOT as good for 'cushily embracing' my odd shaped items -- my camera gear. The two side openings are sort of hard to hold open, and those openings mean that only interior front and back panels have velcro attachability. ALSO, the three identical 'origami' folding spacer panels that can be attached within are very stiff, and I cannot easily shape them into a custom array as t can with a more traditional batch of standard, softer, smaller velcroing pads (see attached image). I currently plan to use a hybrid of the PD panels and some softer, more flexible cushioning, depending on the body/lens combo I decide to carry. I don't mind this, but I can imagine a better approach, and I wonder if I'll see it in version 3 of this excellent bag when/if it comes around in a year or two. Another small note is that the external side pouches aren't a great match for my liter-water bottles, so... different bottles I guess, or maybe bottles IN the pack and something else in the side pockets.
Build quality is excellent, and -- while somewhat heavier on it's own than other 15 liter bags -- feels like it will be great for some miles, whether city streets or Acadia ridges. Extra straps and pockets seem just right, and high tech components here and there seem state of the art. Thanks PD!
Overall, score! I'd think of the stiff/firm 'engineered' feel of this bag as needing more attention to the specifics of how you pack and use it, but that the payoff comes when you've adapted your way to what's best for your rig, and then get to use it in the wild.
