Love this bag's versatility. Waste strap was designed for thin people :(

Only complaint is the waist strap is not long enough for me to use. I'm a 38" waist and can't extend the straps out to clasp. Maybe they sell an extension but feel this was an oversight.
I still gave it a 5 star review as the rest of the features and options are amazing and we'll executed. I travel with varying camera systems from DSLR to medium format with anything from 1 -5 lenses. I like to scale my system up and down depending trip length.
Wish list for future versions. A quick deployable rain fly like the old Loepro AW Pro used to have. Could deploy from where tripod straps are with minimal weight. Guess I could carry one but always forget until you need it.

Amazing bag. Needs attention to the straps

I have been a fan of Peak Design since the beginning and have 3 bags, camera pouches, and some of the other little pouches. One thing that is common are the straps and how they adjust. For the Travel backpack, the chest strap and the straps that go across the front of it are not fixed to the bag. I lost the chest strap on an airplane and one of the front straps fell out of the magnetic pouch on the bottom. Kind of a bummer. I think there is an opportunity to look at the Osprey straps and configure them similarly. Saying all of this, I am a huge Peak fan and their quality of the bags and functionality is like no other.

Great Large Everyday Bag

I have been using my Peak Design bag almost every day for my daily commute to school, carrying my A7III with a 24-70mm, a 70-200mm, and a 16" Macbook Pro. While it seems like a normal bag, the inside is full of features that really make it a great functional bag. The camera cube integration, as well as all the organizers, make sure all of my stuff is safe and sound. The clamshell opening makes everything easy to pack and organize but you still use it as a normal top-entry bag as well. The straps are thick and comfy and the hardware everywhere is super nice. On top of all that, I ride a motorcycle every day and find it very comfy on rides from 10 minutes to 3 hours. The fabric is easily cleanable and everything has held up great so far. If you are hesitant about this bag, I would highly recommend it.

All that and a bag of chips...

Just spent 2 weeks living out of the pack in Northern Europe. Carries well and held everything, with expansion room on the return trip for gifts. Is baggage handler repellent and designed to keep the back panel upright so that if you do check it, the back-panel stays clean. Well thought out trim with a place for everything. Easy size for maneuvering on trains and buses and I brought a rain cover and never needed it as the fabric sheds water well. The padding allows the bag to keep its shape and yet the frame-less design tucks well into bins and allows smashing as needed. Works with other brand cubes/pack it pouches easily. This handled it all.

Great but also terrible

Fits everything perfectly. Great for travel. But wear it fully loaded (medium camera cube with gear, pouches, laptop, some clothes) for more than 30 minutes and your shoulders are done. I have the everyday 30 liter and those straps are even worse. I was excited when I was watching the hangouts during the course of the Kickstarter, learning they updated the straps so I pulled the trigger on one. Now I'm sad I did cause I can't return it. I could've easily purchased this bag from an online retailer and recieved it at the same time AND had the option to get my hands on it and have the option to return it if need be. I also backed for the duffle, so I hope that shoulder strap will have some more padding...Overall, if you need to get a fair amount of gear from point A to B and don't plan on walking around with it at the location you're visiting OR simply don't fully load it, then it'll be a great bag. Minus 1 star for each strap.
Just Perfect .. all what you need for travel .. wish it had more attachement in the Front

Best bag I've ever owned!!!

Best bag ever! I'm constantly moving from one house to another. I live at both houses plus I film for my YouTube channel so i needed a bag that would cover multiple situations. This bag along with a few other accessories like the packing cubes allow me to pack everything i need all neat and tidy. This bags expanding design allows me to fit as much or as little as i need. I love that this bag looks deceptively small in comparison to how much it actually can fit and it can fit a surprising amount in it. Its side zippers as well handles on all four sides plus the back make this one of the most versatile bags you can buy. I like to pack the main compartment so that I can still access stuff from the side zips such as a hand sanitizer for when its needed. The bags also built like a tank just take one look at it and you'd know it was built to last. My only complaint would be that it's not the most comfortable and that 's also a common complaint by the way but I don't think it's that bad. If you're looking for a bag that is extremely versatile, holds a ton and is build to last than this is it. :)
I would recommend this to a friend!

I LOVE THIS BAG BUT LOOKS BAD AFTER ONE USE

I bought this bag days before taking a trip to Italy. It was my carry-on bag, so it never went through the checked luggage. I only carried it around on my back, no hiking, no banging it around on anything rough at all. Yet, the material looks very worn already after two days. All of the pockets and the expandable space is amazing. In Italy, the two people I was traveling with were both pickpocketed, but Not able to get into my backpack, so high ratings for safety! Overall, I love the bag I just wish it didn’t look so worn after the first use.
