A Minimalist's Dream

I'm currently using this duffle alongside the large packing cube and have it fully stuffed to max capacity with other things such as a toiletry bag, an old 2011 fat 15 inch macbook pro, mini tripod, led light and the pockets are loaded with other miscellaneous tools and travel essentials.
I've had this backpack through your standard wear and tear situation such as trains, planes, busses and due to the weight of my things in it I can only use it as a backpack which works PERFECTLY for my body size and build. I noticed some other users mentioned the backpack function is not usable for them but for someone who has a slim build at 5'4'' I'm doing just fine.
A regular backpack would be tearing at the seams or at the stitching where the handles are locked into, but not this bag. I'm currently using it to backpack through Japan and it has been a blessing not having any malfunctions occur or bag tear because that would make it very difficult for me to continue being mobile since it's the one and only bag I'm using. This peace of mind is essential to making a trip like this.
EVEN if this bag breaks I would buy it again because of how rough I've been treating it, I'm surprised it already hasn't shredded.
I'd give it 4.5 stars if i could - This duffle is a good size, and fits a considerable amount of gear in, but is also usable with a low loading. Material strong and hard wearing, having survived a few trips around Australia and over to the US and back. Good pocket sizes, and locations making for quick easy access to the things you need. Biggest drawback is the magnets for the sides and the handles just aren't strong enough. Barely ever close in normal use
The design of the travel bag has unique ingenuity and characteristics, the color matching is simple and durable, the content is large, and it is very suitable to load fitness and sports products.
I just took this bag on a 5-day tour along with my Everyday Backpack V1, and it did its job really well. It still looks like brand new after being loaded onto and off of buses and planes (and in one case, literally kicked around) every day, and the overall design and pocket layout made organization of clothes and toiletries simple.
I love the magnetic features on the bag, but I wish the magnets were stronger overall. The hand straps only really stay together when they're at rest, and when you pick the bag up, you need to use some extra grip strength to keep them together. The magnets used to fold the sides of the bag down are also weak to the point of not holding if the bag is at or near full.
All in all, the cons are pretty minor, and I'm really happy with this bag. It's great for shorter trips and larger everyday carry!
This is a truly amazing bag! It is stylish, practical and versatile. I use this bag to Carry my work clothes to the gym of a morning and to take my gym gear home at the end of the day. It is so versatile as it fits everything easily, and still fits under the seat on the train I can carry all I need for the day - keys, phone, wallet, laptop and water bottle, so I only need the one bag. With other sports bags, I need to carry a second bag to fit everything in. I have done a few weekend trips and fitted everything I need in easily. I chose the sage green and am considering getting a black one for variety! I highly recommend this bag.
Duffel bag very useful in their size/volume. Currently, i used it for my short trip/overnight just to fit everything in (clothings and camera accessories). The compartment does very good in organizing items without flip over to search or get my stuff.
However, the shoulder padding seem slightly thin (need more cushion) when carry over the shoulder. Overall still satisfied with it. I looking forward to order tripod.
If you put the camera case in the bag when carrying the camera, the part will become bigger and lose its compactness. I don't really like the appearance that spreads out sideways, but I'm generally satisfied.
Pros: amazing quality material, both inside and outside. I used to a trip to South Africa, packing well one could easily fit one week of clothes. The zippers and buckles also great. The shoulder strap are really confortable. The great price for the quality.
Cons: the main zipper pull ripped on the first week of the travel, the material is very flimsy. The hand straps are very short to be used as a backpack strap. With all expertise of Peak Design in camera straps, I didnt understand why the hand straps are not size adjustable like the slide. The paddle could be adjusted with snap dots. With this, the backpack mode is not pratical.
