Better than Eagle Creek or Anything Else Out There

The materials on these packing cubes are better than any other brand out there. The pull apart zipper, robust compression section, and hardy stretch fabric makes you believe you can actually *use this* and not blow out a seam (like some other Kickstarter packing cubes). Buy these and if you don't like them I have a mountain of Eagle Creek cubes I'll trade you for just one of these.
I am excited to write this review because PD products are so good that it's hard to forget that the company isn't perfect! The fast opening lid is interesting and helps you get a clean pair of socks out as quickly as humanly possible... if that is something that you have ever been concerned with. The trouble with this design is that it takes longer to close than a single wrap-around zipper, and it makes it difficult to compress things inside the cube because the lid unzips itself. Still, these packing cubes are lightweight and well made, and I do appreciate the separate zippered pocket for dirty items. I look forward to a revised model.
Never thought much about packing cubes, but I absolutely love them. I am OCD when it comes to organizing all things in my life, and packing cubes are a game changer. I have since looked at several other brands as well, but Peak Design is head and shoulders above the competition. Like everything I have from them, I can't recommend it enough!
These packing cubes have fulfilled my cube desires: - Dimensional shapes - Very ultra-light (comparable to Eagle Creek Pack-It Specter) - Smoooooth zippers - Compression - Bonus** Designed to open with one strategic pull! Brilliant!
One can never have enough cubes to organize items at home especially but these are coming with me!
Bought a bunch of different cubes (based off Chase's review) and this was the one I was most stoked for. The square shape and capacity are ideal even for other bags (fits perfectly in my RE Alpha31).
I can get 6 T-shirt's, 1 flannel, 1 sweat, 1 short, 1 Jean, 6 boxer brief, 6 socks, and one light hoodie in this bad boy! Single clothing cube for 1 bag travel unfortunately, putting it into my mission workshop bag was a tight fit. I used the carry handle to pull it out and the handle ripped!
I contacted support and they sent me a new one right away! Amazing support and belief for their products. I'm so happy I purchased this to support a local company with great customer support.
My only hope is next gen one is built like a tank and made for abuse. I want to be able to stuff it to the max and really compress. I won't ding the 5th star because I don't believe it was ever advertised to be bomb proof.
TL;DR - great buy that can fit a lot off stuff, just be mindful to not stuff to the gills and yank the carrying handle.
