It works well enough as a compression bag. I always use them when I travel. I'm going to buy another set (large and small) for my growing family. What I especially like is the material. It's smooth and comfortable. I also like the fact that it has pockets for storing clothes after they are worn.
I've used many packing cubes over the years, and these are my go to. Potentially because I use the travel bag that goes with them, but they're just easy. When I'm using a suitcase I still use this cubes, I like how easily they unzip, it's just simple.
These bags are great at compression and fitting as many clothes as you can in the space. The zippers are incredibly sturdy and the handles are great. Two major design flaws: the handle straps are too thin and the compression zipper does not have any protection around it, and your fingers will be severely cramped when you try to use the compression feature to zip your clothes up.
Other than this, if you're looking for a simple and functional packing cube with no muss and fuss, this would suffice.
I own about 6 of these cubes. There are of the best quality I came across after trying many brands. I wish the price was more attainable and that they were sold in a bundle or package. Also something that would make them perfect is a transparent top so that one can tell what is stored them (the side view is limiting)
I love all the features, it is a bit on the pricy side and I wish there was a set instead of single cube. But besides that, it does the job and is very lite weight
I bought this medium cube to use as my main packing cube for traveling. I liked the quick opening, I liked that it can expand if you're not concerned with compressing it a ton. I'm a big guy and this can hold a pair of joggers, two pairs gym shorts and about 5 or 6 of my T-shirt's. After that, it's too much to be able to compress it without worrying about tearing the seams.
The compression zipper is small and I worried I I was putting too much pressure on it. But I made sure everything was positioned well and was able to close it with no issue. You do have to be careful about catching the thin mess, but other than that, I see no issues with this holding up as long as you're not pushing it's limits.
The only thing that makes me nervous is when really packing it out and trying to zip it shut you see the seams stressing. I've seen in other reviews where they have torn, but as long as you keep that in mind it shouldn't be an issue
I bought this packing cube along with the small packing cube since I travel alot for work. They work great since the compress my larger items into a smaller manageable size. They have held up so far and I haven't had any issues.
