Best refrigerator in my opinion

We looked for a long time before deciding on this GE profile french door refrigerator. We got the counter depth model which we love because it doesn't stick out too far in our rather small kitchen. The selling features were the auto fill pitcher, (no more filling up the britta), the wall of lights, the reputation of the GE line of products, the beverage drawer, and the overall look of this refrigerator. I highly recommend this product. Plus it is energy efficient!

Nice looking fridge. Bigger than expected. What is annoying is handles screws get loose. Particularly the freezer handle.

Awesome refrigerator

We love this refrigerator. It has ample space, seems very well built and is very practical. The water pitcher is actually quite useful, and not having the water and ice through the door dispenser gives us a ton of additional space. We've only had it for a month, but are very please with our purchase.

Smaller than expected

The fridge is smaller than expected and holds less than we thought it would. The freezer is especially poorly designed, with the ice maker taking up a quarter of the space. If I could go back and order a different fridge, I would.

Easy access to cold water

Looks nice, lacks storage space, louder

The fridge is pretty, has some neat features with the self-filling water pitcher and backlights, middle drawer that I use for meat and cheese, but going from side-by-side to French door with bottom freezer makes me realize how little storage space it has for my needs. It's counter depth, so that's part of the issue w/storage space, but I didn't realize shelf space would be so limited and how hard it would be to fit leftovers, fruit/produce containers, and regular fridge "stuff" on the shelves. Constantly knocking stuff over trying to get to items. You definitely can't ship in bulk like I was with such limited freezer space (when transferring everything over, I still had one large cooler full of items left to move over and the drawers were already full. Had to thaw and eat some things. Definitely can't do the homemade soup and chili batch freezing anymore for meal prep. It's also a little louder that I thought it would be. Took me months to get halfway used to the sound of the liquid moving around for the compressor. The size of the fridge will change how often you have to grocery shopping. I usually bought more groceries at once to last 2.5 or 3 wks vs going frequently. Can no longer buy bulk freezer goods due to lack of space in drawers. Stiff also falls out of the back of the drawers often to parts of the freezer you can't really reach (ice.cubes included) It's an OK fridge, but I just don't love it as much as I thought I would when comparison shopping.
